Written just like a woman (or perhaps a man in disquise) who wants to screw-screw-screw w/o any consequence or qualms.

Oh they are upset because no one will pay attention to them anymore. On April 25th a handful of the most ugly bitter and hate filled women will come to DC with hairy armpits to put condoms on bananas.

It is the ability to identify a "gay" gene in utero, should that ability come to pass, that will end abortion and tear apart the democrat party along the way.

The only women I know who are prochoice are rather loose. I did know an atheist liberal girl who had an abortion and became very, very prolife afterwards. Poor girl...
For the men, it's a little different. For the woman, sex is a deeply emotional act and cannot be separated from love. A woman who views the sex the way a man does has been calloused. Prochoice men desparately want to believe that the "natural" state of women is exactly the same as a man's--no commitment, in the worst-case scenario just flush the fetus and you're both done with each other. This is based on my conversations of 2 male friends who were very, very pro-choice, BTW...
But ultimately Gen Xers seem to know the "there's no such thing as a free lunch" maxim much better than the 60's hippies did... we may not be much more pro-life, but we do have a lot less sympathy for a woman who gets stuck with a pregnancy through her own actions and therefore we won't make a big fuss if abortion becomes illegal.

Calling abortion "reproductive rights" is like calling shooting your neighbor "zoning rights."

We will take this barbaric "right" away from you with pleasure. Be responsible, try self control, and do not cause unwanted pregnancies which end in killing the baby. Save the baby and stop being so self-centered thinking only of yourself. Remember the rights of the father.

Do the Gen Xers realize that THEY will be paying 2/3 of their future paychecks in taxes to keep the government and Social Security afloat because 1/3 of their generation of taxpayers was murdered by their mothers with the blessing of leftists in and out of the government? What kind of profoundly sick person would even make such a statement. Your children do not exist in this world solely to pay for your retirement benefits.
I see this assertion made on these threads, and it is without question one of the most egregiously selfish perspectives I have ever seen. It is basically asserting that future generations should be the slaves of the prior, and so people should breed because we are running out of slaves. Taxes and abortion have NOTHING to do with the each other, and only a sociopath would try and tie them together in this fashion.

Why is it that those of us born from 1955 to 1965 get lumped in with the baby boomers? Most of us have nothing in common with the hippie commies born from 1940 to 1955. Researchers use various criteria to determine the boundaries between the generations, depending on the focus of their study.
The "Baby Boom" as determined by number of births, covers the years from 1946 to 1964. Some researchers count the Boomers born from 1961 through 1964 as part of the next (Gen-X) generation, because they self-identify socially and politically with that generation.
Many of the Boomers have nothing in common with "the hippie commies" other than age grouping, but the fact is that the liberals of the Boomer generation far outnumbered the conservatives. Liberal Boomers control most of the decision-making positions in government and business, and will for the next few (hopefully very few) years.

"On April 25, thousands of people will flood downtown DC to support one common goal: preserving what few 'reproductive rights' women in this country still possess."
Women have more 'reproductive rights' than men. Even if they lost all 'rights' to murder their unborn babies, they would still have more 'reproductive rights' than men.

Yeah, us "Gen-X'ers" are perfectly aware of abortion and it is another example of the greedy, self centered attitude of the "Boomers".You DO realize that Gen Xers have been a good chunk of those women aborting their babies, right?

Never forget:
"Deformed fetus" literally means "crippled unborn child."
and "remove" means "dismember and kill."

Let's get real here folks, and say it like it is:
"The right of women to control their own bodies murder their unborn hangs by a 5-4 vote. In other words, Bush needs to appoint as few as one anti-choice pro-life justice to overturn decades of progress in reproductive rights dismembering babies.
To: MEGoody
You're rite, I don't think there's any way for us to color it differently. Just cuz we spend alot of time on these conservative fora w/others of like mind of same age doesn't mean most of our generations are any more innocent than the previous. In fact, those libs in our generations (and there are many) largely learned their ways from their parents, whether their "rebellious" natures acknowledge it or not.
Believe me, I'd love to think we're more conservative, but I don't see the evidence yet!
