You are absolutely right. Earlier Dr. Johnson stated when asked about pain that he knew of no research. I have seen an ultrasounds where the baby's heart rate starts racing as it is literally trying to get away from this brutality. We live in such a evil world - how much longer can the Lord ignore this?

You know, it occurred to me some time ago that passing a law requiring that the fetus be properly anesthetized before an abortion could proceed, would pretty much be the end of the abortion travesty. Just the notion of the debate – all but the most cynical profiteer would wake up from the slumber America is in on this issue. Anyhow, looks like the Bush administration might give us a debate on the issue of a fetus' capacity for experiencing pain without such a ghoul law. Thank God for President Bush!

Friends and family in Europe; liberals the bunch of them, are in shocked disbelief when I tell them about the late terms abortions legally performed in the US.

The Supreme Court short circuited the democratic process on this issue. We will probably still have legal abortions in most states even after the Supreme Court finally realizes the tragedy it has created but, you can all but guarantee that no state house in America is going to allow fetuses that are mature enough to react to external stimuli - such as pain to be torn apart limb from limb.

It does sound like this judge is not afraid to tell it like it is. My question is when is America going to get it? I cant believe that people (mostly democrats/liberals) can talk about being compassionate and world peace while they sit by and let this horrific procedure of killing babies continue.
