Fallujah...Be Damned
WESH-TV2 | 04/01/04 | Rapunzel

Posted on 04/01/2004 8:41:35 PM PST by Rapunzel

I have been sickened this evening by learning via the television 11 o'clock news, that the grandson of a dear friend has been murderd in Iraq.

Scott Helvenston, from Florida was one of the four men in the despicable attack. And yes his body was hung over the Eurphrates River. A 12 year Navy Seal veteran and a wonderful person.

Watched this boy grow into a man and it has just about sucker punched me.

Tear down the bridge, stop the food shipments, and tell women and children they have 36 hours to leave before our troops go in, in a big way.

This is so sad, I am sorry for your friend and all of the family. This young man will never be forgot in the battle to fight the ones who want to see America destroyed.

I will probably print this thread and give it to his family. I want them to know that alot of good people are out in America realizing how much a sacrifice their son has given for us.

Rapunzel I am so sorry. I know that means little, and I can not even imagin your pain, but my prayers are with you and his family.

I want them all to pay! I hope they pay with as much pain and a million times more than they inflicted!

“When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.”
-Proverbs 21:15, NIV

May the Lord bless those who defend us and may he rain judgement down upon these wicked heathen criminals.

The sub-human scum who did this will pay. They will hopefully pay very soon in this life, and they shall pay eternally in the next.

This declared war on the US touches us all, sometimes closer than we would think. May God in Heaven fill this brave young man with joy, and comfort his grieving family. May God scatter our enemies before us and bring our hearts back to Him.

If tomorrow all the things were gone I’d worked for all my life,
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife.
I’d thank my lucky stars to be living here today,
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can’t take that away.

And I’m proud to be an American where as least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.

From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee,
across the plains of Texas, from sea to shining sea,

From Detroit down to Houston and New York to LA,
Well, there’s pride in every American heart,
and it’s time to stand and say:

I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.

I saw him on that TV show that had navy seals and swat team members and delta force members competing against each other.

My dear FRiend, I was outraged yesterday. Totally furious at hearing this disgusting news. As a matter of fact, it ruined my day. I simply cannot tell you how angry I've been over it.

Then I read your post today and now I just want to weep. Please, please tell your friend he has many other people grieving with his family. I hope President Bush flattens that lousy town and kills all the bastards who did this to ALL OF US. Scott deserves that!

Please pass on my respects and condolences to everyone in the family. I am utterly heartbroken.

No act of retaliation will bring him back, but it may help to discourage others from following suit.

The world has seen what happened. Now they must see what will happen in response.

I pray that the lesson will be swift, overwhelming, educational and unforgettable.
