SACRED STONE STILL MAKES TREES AND FLOWERS BLOOM

Apr 6 2004

ONE of the strangest archaeological artefacts I ever saw is housed at a secret address in Kilbarchan.

It's the stone head of a black-skinned, pre-Christian goddess which surfaced near the majestic West Church in the picturesque Renfrewshire village.

Although the beautiful red sandstone kirk is just over a century old, it occupies the site of the pre-Reformation St Catherine's Chapel.

Equally enigmatic - and carved on an ancient stone wall surrounding the snowdrop- silvered tombstones in the graveyard - is the sword of a Knight Templar thought to be a member of the Craufurd family, of nearby Auchenames Castle, who served in the 12th and 13th century Crusades to regain the Holy City of Jerusalem for Christendom.

The sculpted sword - which signifies a Templar burial sepulchre - and the wizened stone head are inextricably linked.

After 200 years of valiant Christian service, the Templars were brutally suppressed between 1307 and 1314 by an unholy alliance of the Church and French king Philippe IV.

Their political and ecclesiastical masters believed the Knights were too powerful and wealthy. So they accused the brave brotherhood of heretical religious observances, including the worship of enchanted human heads.

At an Inquisition in 1308, the Knights Templar were accused of 'having idols, namely heads, that they adored these idols, said they could save them, and that the heads could create riches, make trees, flower and land germinate'.

It was believed the sculpted heads were inspired by the dark-skinned Egyptian Goddess, Isis, consort of Osiris, the dying-and- resurrecting vegetational god, and mother of Horus, who was the reborn Osiris and identifiable with the Egyptian Pharaohs.

It was alleged the Templars were introduced to the Isis Earth Mother cult, with its promise of resurrection after death in battle, during the Crusades.

Perhaps the mysterious stone head was brought to Renfrewshire from the Holy Land by a Knight Templar - possibly a Craufurd of Auchenames - commemorated by the sculpted sword at the village's medieval graveyard.

Today, the fields and woods around the elegant church in Kilbarchan are fragrantly- floriated by springtime daffodil, crocus, cherry, celandine and coltsfoot blossoms.

It seems the sacred stone head still makes trees flower in the luxuriant land where an entombed Knight Templar awaits the trumpet call of resurrection in the Earth Mother's bosom.

For alchemy, I think you need to wave around a high-tech space-time-ripping stick like Jesus had, passed down from an ultra-advanced anti-gravity-capable pre-Egyptian society (bummer how their continent sunk before they could build a boat).

Not very good. In the Book of Revelation, what caught your notice on the last page of the Book that made you go "oops" about the Freemasons?

The last book of Revelations says they'll be left outside of the Holy city because of their wickedness. Opps!

The list of those who will not be allowed to enter the Holy city. Plus, Jesus said wood or stone will not help us in any way. Witchcraft is frowned upon.
Christ taught FAITH or BELIEF is the only tool necessary to get where you want to go. For many, many things, it would take a total, unwavering faith or belief to reach many of those goals.

If you say unto this mountain, "Fall into the sea" and truly believe in your heart it will fall into the sea, it will fall into the sea.

Now, if you wish to discuss religion, psychics, or Freemason, you might want to consider FReep mailing. It'll save the thread for the article discussion.

The Templars seem to have been victims of jealousy and a bad rap.

It's quite possible that somebody brought back a piece of classical sculpture when they returned from the crusades. It doesn't mean that they worshipped goddesses. Soldiers traditionally bring back souvenirs.

We have a little ivory Chinese good-luck god on a mantlepiece. It doesn't mean that we worship Chinese gods, just that a friend gave it to us many years ago and we like its looks.

That's what the Freemasons say, anyway. They mix astronomy, rituals, symbols, etc.

Sounds like you're still smoking that strange stuff.

It couldn't overcome a medieval king of France....

The specific King in question committed the murders on contract to the Pope, the head man of the Roman Catholic Church. The RCC has the blood stained hands for the Templar murders.

In those days if one was called a heretic, he better find his sword real quick.

Neo-pagans spin a ton of these myths, that the holy grail refers to a severed head, that ancient celts had essentially the same religion as the whole near east, that all of the above were feminist friendly and gaia-esque, though also typically sado-porn, blah blah blah. All of it completely made up, free association as pretend archeology or history. "Maybe" a templar brought this from someplace over there. And maybe it sprang fully grown from the head of Zeus.

But then, there is no reason whatever to suppose so. A guy had a sword carved on his tomb because he had been a crusader, that is all. A relic anything (celtic bog people relic, who knows) - at a "secret address" of course - might be within 10 miles of said tomb. Oh, of course, the only possible explanation is the wonderful earth mother goddess, whose enlightened worshippers were persecuted by evil patriarchal catholics! See, that follows.

The ball of gnostic free associations always involved can be dated to the pagan Roman empire period. That is when the various bits of the stew got mixed. If anyone wants real history of such beliefs and their interconnections - which came quite late - they can read e.g. Dollinger's surveys of pre-Christian beliefs, or a bit later on to get the full flavor of gnostic nuttiness from a contemporary, Hippolytus. Clement of Alexandria on the pagans, and portions of Augustine, are lesser sources.

They can't even invent a new heresy...

"According to Marshall Willanholly, the slestacks used this stone to control the weather."

That is the funniest hing I have read in awhile. I loved Holly. My wife was freaked out by the slestacks. Thanks

The knowledge was powerful. They never thought they would have to use it against those they had served, ie the church. They could not conceive that the church would be an enemy, ie be infiltrated by overlords (fallen angels) of the same variety that hey were fighting on other fronts. Thus many didn't fight back, either out of total dismay, or due to the goodness within them.

As I understood it, it was the other way around. The French King was heavily in debt and wanted to rip off the Templars, so he strong-armed the Vatican into cooking up a bunch of bogus charges against them so he could move in on them and confiscate their wealth.

Well to start with, alchemy is misunderstood. The true alchemist works on changing the human records of his heart into the pure gold of Universal Christ consciousness.Ie, personal inner alchemy must occur before outer feats. This usually takes several lifetimes once conscious effort is made. Then when that mastery is obtained, the feats of alchemy can be wrought through manipulation of the four planes of matter. Of course the most well-known example of alchemy was Jesus turning the water into wine. No one has had that level of mastery since, except St. Germain, but alas most think him to be the devil.
Scientists during the Atlantis used genetics and nuclear physics to to manipulate matter, but this was done without control of the elements, and unfortunately, resulted in the destructionof that civilization.
I myself have been working on personal alchemy for 25 years. I hope in maybe 10 more to have some skill in the exoteric science. I'll keep you posted.

Well you are correct, the king coveted the Templar wealth...... but the Pope urged him to destroy the Templars rather than just steal their wealth.

Yeah, I know what ya' mean.

I've been working on making a good grilled cheese sandwich for many lifetimes myself!

It's been hard because for the first few lifetimes grills weren't invented yet, and I had to cook the grilled cheese sandwiches on rocks that were sitting in a bed of coals, while fighting off any savage Cro-Magnans.

But then the Middle Ages came along and we discovered that our armor could be used to grill a FANTASTIC cheese sandwich, (after fighting off the forces of Saladin, of course!)

Then, I went through several more lifetimes perfecting my Grilled Cheese Sandwich! I had to wait for The New World to be discovered, first, then I began using all their delicious spices!

And then I went through a cycle of many lifetimes where I was born into war...against Attila, against Hannibal, then the War Between The States, then finally was born into a lifetime during the Roaring '20's, and MAN did I perfect my Ultimate Grilled Cheese Sandwich!!

But then, drat the luck, I died on a yacht off of Catalina! I didn't get back to another lifetime until the '40's, but I was born in Tibet, where all we had were YAK milk cheese!

And I want to tell you, that stuff is HORRID!

Plus, it was always rancid, and there were so many ashes of cremated people flying around that you weren't sure that some didn't fly into your Yak Milk Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

Then the commies invaded, and that preceded my entry into THIS lifetime, but I discovered Espresso, so now...my 300-lifetime+ search for The Perfect Grilled Cheese Sandwich just sorta' petered out, and now I'm looking for the alchemy of the Perfect Espresso.

I wonder if they'll have espresso machines in my next lifetime? I've heard rumors from other people that Morlocks don't really make the best coffeee beans.

Don't throw away those eons of reincarnating for that perfect cheese. Become a Packer fan. They're in need of some alchemy.
