Blasts in Baghdad, smoke near U.S. HQ -- witnesses

BAGHDAD, April 10 (Reuters) - Several blasts rang out across central Baghdad on Saturday and a column of smoke rose from neare the heavily fortified "Green Zone" where the U.S.-led administration in Iraq is based, Reuters witnesses said.

The Green Zone has been attacked several times in recent months with mortars and rockets, and by a suicide bomber who blew up his vehicle at one of its entrances.

I have noticed a marked uptick in the terrorist attacks since Kerry and Kennedy have begun their "camapaign". Also noticed Sadr quoting Kennedy within 24 hours.

I believe there is a connection. Perhaps it's time for our Support the Troops rallies to pick up again.

Amazing that within a 24 hour time span we start hearing the same phrase over & over. The DNC was quick in getting the message out to its supporters
