Any truth to the rumor that the "St. Petersburg Democratic Club" will be changing their name back to the "Leningrad Democratic Club?"

LOL

Yet even further proof of what we are facing in this country. The Democratic party is absolutely tearing this country to pieces. They're destroying the morale of our soldiers, they're giving comfort to the enemy, they're lying, they're stealing, they're inciting violence??

I'm sorry, but let's face it -- these people are idiots. What kind of ignoramous signs off on an ad that recommends standing a cabinet member against the wall and shooting him? Wasn't this the tactic of the Confederates who plotted to assassinate not only Lincoln but most of his cabinet? Yet I guarantee there will be ZERO apologies forthcoming from the Kerry Camp, Teddy the Hut, etc.

Worse, they have the ability to pander to the uninformed, uneducated American public that can provide the crucial swing vote in tight elections.

Nope, just doesn't have the same flow ...

Not only that, but Rumsfeld knows where they stand and that is with the "insurgents"....

Thats why this explaination of the "trigger" comment is such bull and inciting the assasination of a cabinet member.

The Gabber is obviously just a "shopper," a free newspaper with little or no news content. But the ad appears to be a legitimate production of the St. Petersburg Democratic Party.

Interesting that the ad concludes with these words: "For Club Information, 343-7921 Ken, President; 525-4586, Edna, Vice-President." Note that no last names are given. Anyone wishing to give these folks a ring should know that the Area Code for St. Pete is 727.

2nd poster on DU thread:

"Convict Drudge of treason and put him up against the wall and PULL THE TRIGGER."

Civil War 2 just became inevitable.

The Left will start it. We will end it.

Umm, let me take a stab at that one. How about the kind that would support a man who would sit in on a meeting plotting to kill six US Senators?

It used to be that the "3 Esses" applied only to endangered species one found on one's property.

If the Democrats don't learn when to STFU, it may apply to them as well.

CAMPAIGN RAGE: FLORIDA DEMOCRATS PLACE NEWSPAPER AD CALLING FOR RUMSFELD HIT; FUNDRAISING FOR KERRY

Campaign 2004 turns extreme in Florida with the placement of a newspaper ad calling for physical retribution against Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld!

"We should put this S.O.B. up against a wall and say 'This is one of our bad days,' and pull the trigger," the ad reads.

MORE

The call-to-arms fundraising ad, placed by the St. Petersburg Democratic Club in the current issue of the GABBER, a local St. Petersburg paper, asks readers to make an urgent donation to the John Kerry campaign.

Club Vice President Edna McCall told the DRUDGE REPORT Tuesday morning: "We want to get our country back. In Iraq, we're in deep trouble. If we don't try to get this situation cleared up, we are finished."

When asked if the ad was a challenge to inflict violence on Rumsfeld, McCall explained: "'Pull the trigger' means let Rumsfeld know where we stand, not to shoot him!"

"We are getting raped, and they are planning to steal the election again."

McCall said her club is in direct contact with John Kerry campaign.

"We're all working together."

The publisher of the GABBER says running the ad with the passage "pull the trigger" was a mistake that "slipped through" during the editing of this week's edition.

Developing...

What has happened to our country?

Liberals, progressives, and some independents have opposed duty, honor, G-d, country, and patriotism in favor of entitlements, racial quotas, secularism, pornography, drug abuse, and treason.

I guess the larger question is why did kerry green light this sedition ? When did kerry know the assasination of the sitting Secretary of Defence woul dbe made public ?

1) What did kerry know?
2) When did he know it ?

Check out this page for the club - seems to me a freeping f the Florida Democratic party is in order. Let's see if they approve of authorizing a club that advocates killing an administration official?

Now DU is claiming its an RNC planted ad even though the Gabber is a leftwing publication and the author has already admitted connection to Kerry's campaign.

This is pure BS - I've worked in a weekly paper and there are so many eyes on the entire paper while it is being proofed that everyone at the paper would have to be blind to have let this "slip through" the editing process.

Pure lies, everyone on this paper ought to be fired for gross incompetence!
