Not all democracy is western style. They will have democracy if we have the will to stay with them.

We won't have the will forever. The west will fall, and the east will rise. But not today.

Kjam22: Anyone who listens to Savage uncritically and takes anything he has to say without, ummm, a large grain of salt, doesn't have much common sense. Listen carefully to many of Savage's callers. Notice how sometimes he seems to just sort of talk over them and they go silent, then he pauses and they come back up and are still talking? I believe he tapes many of his callers in advance — perhaps when they are speaking to the screener — then just uses the calls that fit with his screed.

His manner is crude, rude, boorish, repetitive, nasty and, frankly, silly at times. Leaving politics aside, I just can't imagine anyone with common sense taking the guy too seriously.

Cause he is a lousy campaigner. They're trying to get him accustomed to being round people he has nothing in common with, i.e., everyday folks. In a poll by Southern Media released yesterday President Bush beats Kerry 53% to 38% in Louisiana.
