Missing Woman Sought Clues Point to Burglary at Victim's Shop
CUMMING -- Forsyth County law enforcement authorities said Friday they suspect foul play is involved in the disappearance of a hair dresser who disappeared a day earlier from her salon along with money from the cash register and the wallet from her purse.
Patrice Tamber Endres, 38, runs the Tamber's Trim-N-Tan hair salon, where she was last seen helping a customer at about 11:35 a.m. Thursday. Her co-workers reported her missing 10 minutes later......

Folks, even though Atlanta has crept closer and closer to us over the last few years, we still have a small town feel and a sense of community. I do not know this lady, but this happened not very far from my home.
It is personal....I am posting this for maximum exposure. Hopefully she will be found. Her picture is on the article, but I have not mastered that, if someone would post it here, I would be most grateful.

The clues are scare in this case, but from what I understand the police are convinced it was foul play.
And a pregnant woman was abducted yesterday evening from Augusta which is 3 hours from here.
I cannot imagine the anguish of the two families.....

Prayers for this woman and her family. I also pray more women would finally "get it" and learn that you never ever go with the bad guy, no matter whether he has a weapon or not.

A very scary thing happened in Montana several years ago involving a hair salon...
three women were in a hair salon during the day in this small town......all three were found dead with their throats slashed, IIRC...
what kind of perversion would attacking women at a hair salon show?.......maybe just a coincidence, or maybe its just that women would be easier targets.....
they have never found out who killed those women...

Morning GA bump
Update on both:
2 women missing in Georgia
By MIKE MORRIS
Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Published on: 04/17/04
Authorities in Georgia on Friday night were searching for two missing women both suspected cases of foul play.
Forsyth County authorities continued searching Friday for a woman who disappeared under suspicious circumstances on Thursday morning from her tanning salon.
Patrice Tamber Endres, 38, was reported missing by her co-workers after they could not find her at the Tamber's Trim and Tan in Cumming, where she had been at work all morning.
Forsyth Sheriff's Capt. Frank Huggins said the door to the shop was left unlocked, and the lights were on. Sheriff Ted Paxton said money had been removed from the cash register and that the woman's purse had been opened and her wallet removed.
In a second possible abduction, Augusta police searched Friday for a pregnant woman who police say may have been kidnapped during a burglary at her mother's house.
Tamara Dunstan, 29, was last seen Thursday night at her mother's Augusta home. Her vehicle was still at the house, and her keys were inside the home when police arrived, authorities said.
"She possibly arrived at the residence while the burglary was being committed and was abducted," Richmond County Sheriff's Maj. Ken Autry said. "We did find evidence of foul play." The incident occured between 2:30 and 5 p.m. Thursday.

Evening BUMP
I was talking with an officer not involved in the investigation (different jurisdiction) and he said this lady's lifestyle was NOT an issue, they are 99.9% positive it was a burglary and by someone familiar with the operations of the salon because of certain aspects of the case. (i.e. a local person).
She has a son, although I am not sure of his age (maybe late teens early 20's) By all accounts she is a good person.
The news said the search would expand into Pickens, Cherokee and Dawson Counties tomorrow.
So all of you North Ga Freepers, be on the lookout.
From the Forsyth County SGeriff's Website (and once again, if someone could post the picture of the suspect and van, it would be better than the dreaded little box I always get.)
http://www.forsythsheriff.org/news/news_040416_missing.shtml FORSYTH COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
MAN SOUGHT FOR QUESTIONING IN DISAPPEARANCE OF PATRICE ENDRES
Forsyth County Sheriffs Office Investigators are seeking a man they want to question in connection with the recent disappearance of Patrice Tamber Endres.
According to Sheriff Ted Paxton, a witness has come forward and provided investigators with information that may help to identify a person who has information on the circumstances surrounding Ms. Endres disappearance.
Our witness said she passed Tambers Trim-N-Tan just before noon on Thursday and observed a white passenger van parked in front of the building, Sheriff Paxton said. She said that the passenger side of the van was blocking the front door of the building, he continued. At that point she observed a white male walking around the van as if to enter the drivers side. She said she and the male subject observed glances. She has given us a good description of him, Sheriff Paxton added.
The man is described as a white male in his late 30s to early 40s. He is approximate 6 tall and weighs about 180 lbs. He has long brown hair and was possibly wearing a camouflage ball cap. He was wearing a dark gray jersey-style jacket and loose-fitting pants.
The van is described as a white 1999-2004 Chevrolet or GMC cargo van with no windows on the drivers side. The van did have rear windows.
Ms. Endres has been missing since shortly before noon on Thursday from her shop located a few miles west of GA 400 on Hwy. 369. Despite a large air and ground search, including a search of waterways and creeks in the area, no trace has been found of Ms. Endres.
A composite photo of the suspect and photographs matching the description of the van are attached to this email.
Anyone with information about this suspect or van should call the Forsyth County Sheriffs Office at (770) 781-2222.

Praying for her safe return, and thank you for the update.

Sunday Morning BUMP.....
Because we are in Forsyth County (double woe to us in North Forsyth), the "Atlanta Journal Consitution" only sees fit to mention us on rare occaision.
The suspect's drawing was released last evening. One would think the article would be on the front page.....NOT!
It is on the last page of the Metro Section which is buried in the Sunday Paper....I had to really search for it. Not a way for maximum exposure, now is it?
Please Ga Freepers (especially North GA) help get the word out for both victims Patrice in Forsyth County and Tamara in Augusta.
To: Protect the Bill of Rights
Sad...the body of Tamara, the abducted woman from Augusta, GA was found today. Man has been charged with her murder.
Prayers for the safe return of Patrice.

I live in south Forsyth Co. Will be on the lookout this afternoon. These types of crimes usually don't have a good conclusion.
