I Peter 2: 4-5

As you come to Him, the living Stone---
rejected by men but chosen by God
and precious to Him---
you also, like living stones,
are being built into a spiritual house
to be a holy priesthood,
offering spiritual sacrifices
acceptable to God
through Jesus Christ.

Holy Father,

Thank You that Your way is perfect and Your Word is tried. Thank You for being a buckler to all those who trust in You. Thank You that in Your everlasting covenant with us, You have promised not to turn away from us, but to do us good; and You will put Your fear in our hearts, that we may not depart from You. Thank You, Father, that You work all things together for good to them who love You, to them who are the called accord to Your purpose.

Father, we ask Your blessing upon President and Mrs. Bush today. We ask that You would fill their hearts with new love and appreciation for You and for each other. Guide them in every battle. Grant them the peace that passes all understanding. Help them to be still and know that You are God. We praise You for the strength You continue to provide our President as he tackles the challenges that have been placed at his feet. Build him into a spiritual house, that he may be acceptable and pleasing unto You.

Defend America and our men and women who are fighting for us, Lord. Shield them from the deception and stealth of the enemy. Defend us from those who seek to destroy innocent lives in the name of purging the world of those who do not believe or live as they do. Father, rise up and let Your enemies be scattered! We ask You to cover the hostages with Your protection and help them to be set free.

Fill our hearts with the desire to pray, Lord. How great is our need for Your hand upon this nation! How great is our need for Your touch in our personal lives! Help us to rebuild the altars of the churches of this nation, Lord, just as Elijah did on Mount Carmel. Let our tears of confession and repentance be used to grow seeds of revival in America. Come to us in a mighty way, Emmanuel, God with us. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

Heavenly Father; You can do anything and you promised to take care of us that come to you through Your Son who died for all our sins.

Lord, we know that unlike us, You keep Your promises. You told us that when You made a New Covenant, You would write Your laws in our minds and on our hearts. You promised that You would forgive our wickedness and remember our sins no more.

Father, we thank You so much for loving us enough to send Your Son to pay the death penalty for our sins. Father, we need your help more than ever today. It seems as if the world is determined to hasten the sinking into the depths that will bring You back to make Your final judgment on us. Abba, when so many people can be swayed to listen to Satan and to try to raise up evil, self-centered leaders above decent, God-loving men like President Bush, I fear that the end is very near now and that many will be lost without finding You and all Your loving Grace.

All powerful Creator-of-us-all, we pray to you to strengthen the good people and to work Your Will through them. Touch us all with Your loving strength that we may help bring others to You. Father, we pray that You will pour out Your Love, Strength and Grace upon President Bush, his wife and family, and all those who work with and for him. Protect them from those who listen to Satan and then spew his ugly untruths. Watch over and protect us all Father. Guide us in Your Divine Will that we may fight Your fight and live with You in Your Holy Glory for eternity.

on this Your appointed day'your saints gather at Your throne of grace.
Lord we praise You,even though we where totally depraved though Your irresistable grace we have salvation.
Lord we pray for all of the saints,we pray especially for george walker bush,his family and the whole administration.

Lord we pray for all of the defenders of liberty and their families,may Your comfort,protection and grace be with them.

I never know what to say after I read the daily prayer for President Bush, so I never post a reply, but I do want to thank you for posting these each day. God love you.

It is time once again to pray for our judicial system. Father, we are believing you for righteous judges at the Federal, State and local levels. We ask for men and women dominated by the Spirit of Truth, who will uphold the freedoms you so graciously provided this country. We pray for men and women with a just balance who will not change the intentions of our forefathers. We declare that we are one nation under God and that Jesus (alone) is Lord over the United States.
