I read this article carefully for any mention of the cost of state of federally funded programs that this chump was on. No mention - because the press treats this issue as if the cost of this fellow's behavioral choices is paid for with money that grows on trees.
The most important function of the law should be to internalize the cost of actions which would otherwise be externalities - costs foisted on the taxpaying population in general. If this reckless fool's behavior isn't the epitome of that - I don't know what is.

And this is part of the contingent that thinks legalizing drugs and sanctioning homosexual marriage is going to make this all go away. I'd pity the poor bastards if it weren't for the fact that they're ALL fully in control of their actions, and fully aware of the consequences that it brings. It goes beyond an exercise in moral choice; it's a matter of life or death.

Free Meth for all gays.
No free health care as it would interfere with their lifestyle choices.
Problem solved.

People have a right to be stupid with their lives. But where is the law enforcement for illegal drug activity? Also, if this guy started his drug/sex rampages at 16, he must have been in High School with access to other kids. That's where I have a BIG problem. How many kids did this guy influence - explicitly or implicitly? We all know what peer pressure is like for our kids. So, even if this guy finds his way (or dies), he'll never be able to erase his damage. So, accuse me of what you will, but I will shelter my daughter as if her life depends on it - because it truly does. Parents need help because the scumbags are everywhere and it doesn't take much to ruin a child. Expel the troublemakers, jail the criminals and PLEASE, give the good kids a chance.

Oh and one more thing, where is the self control? There are a lot of things I want but don't have because they aren't right. I hate to inject politics into this, but I can't help it. Don't be a democrat - draw the line somewhere when it comes to morality.

I've met several people who did meth, in the neighborhood we lived in. As far as I know they were heterosexual. The advanced stages are eyes like pissholes in the snow and rotten teeth. A longtime friend of one of my daughters lifted the rent money out of her wallet, after my girl took her to the store. Needless to say, that was the final end to that friendship.
Several people went in on a house on my street, and it was approximately 500k selling price. I got a good look at the man, as they mistook my son in law having an altercation with psychobitch, as something to do with their daughter. Along with impaired reasoning, he has the dead eyes and the bad teeth. Yippeeee, we've got tweekers for neighbors!

"On Tina, you make bad judgments about safe sex, about your life, about just about everything," he said."
I submit this statement for belaboring the f**king obvious award.
This one might even retire the trophy.

Of course I feel sorry for anyone who has AIDS but when are people going to get the message about high risk behavior?
To: Wally_Kalbacken
This article could have been written any day for the last thirty years, with the exception of the HIV part (then it's twenty years). Speed kills. Always has, always will. Anybody who is around drugs enough to score knows this. The ones who ruin their lives either don't care or mistakenly believe they are among the few who can dabble but not indulge. All this excuse-making about the "victim" being a wholesome innocent who didn't know the dangers until it was too late is complete and utter b.s. in 99.99+% of the cases. Speed kills. Don't play the game if you care what happens to you. Period.

I have been reading the Porn Industry news...I was interested to note that LA County taxpayers pay for STD testing for the porn stars. Just lovely.

He lost count over the weekend when he hit having sex with 12 men.
These men have no self-control and no self-respect.

Advocating government programs to facilitate the more rapid death of a subgroup that discommodes you, is at once both nasty and selfish, and of course morally wrong. I hope that helps.

Oh that's just one of her many names. She moved in to the house across the street when I was 10. I moved back a few years ago because my mom had Alzheimers and dementia. Out of sheer frustration, I've posted about her here occasionally. She ignored me for a couple of years, or so I thought. She was the one who would call the cops every time I left the house. After she was fired from the school district, she asked me to help her move some boxes for her. What a mess. She crossed some boundaries with us, and when we tried to disengage from her, she started making threats and spreading lies.
She's on a natural high, and of course hooked right up with the tweekers on the corner :-(
As far as the cops and the City...see my tagline. Property values uber alles.

I really feel no charity towards those who knowingly and purposefully choose to harm themselves. I would rather help those whose misfortune is accidental. If thats called being self-righteous so be it.
Do you feel the government should insure houses built on the ocean front, only to rebuild them year after year?
Where does personal responsibility fit into your vocabulary?
People who are aware of Aids, and continue to seek their pleasure with reckless abandon, are aware of the storm approaching, and deserve no shelter in the taxpayers wallet.
