Question:Why did Dr. Dobsons appearance for Pat Toomey get "pulled" from the "Activism" Headlines?

Posted on 04/20/2004 6:35:52 AM PDT by Preacher777

Dr. Dobson is coming to Pennsylvania for this one rally on Friday! This is the most hotly contested U.S. Senatorial race in the country. I place an article to let Freepers locally and nationally know that Dr. Dobson is becoming personally involed in this campaign and in two minutes it dissappears from the Activism Headlines section. Why???

W told us that The Specter is who he wants and criticism of W or anything that doesn't support his aims is not greeted well her at FR.

Rest assured that W would really love to have Toomey, but since two months ago it didn't look like Toomey had a chance, W felt obligated to give Specter his support. I'm sure if Toomey takes Specter out in the primary, W will wholeheartedly support him.

Any "thank you's" for the Lead and Sidebar Moderators who answered your vanity question?

Yes, as a matter of fact I did. I sent both of them a personal note thanking them for their assistance and telling them that I REALLY appreciate FR and turn here every morning along with Drudge for my news. I also told them that I had not meant to cause a problem, but that I didn't know how to send a note to whomever pulled the sidebar headline. I also told them I wasn't sure but thought that it possibly might have been pulled by mistake. I further told them that I hadn't even considered that pulling it was some kind of a "conspiracy" that I was simply trying to understand how the website works better.

So, yes ... I did thank them ... Mom, is that you?? ():)

"I suggest YOU read it. This is a private website, and the 1st Amendment only comes into play in that it enumerates the right of JimRob to run his website as he sees fit, and not as YOU see fit."

So we can assume the this site is pro Specter?

Not at all (if you bother to read the rest of the thread), but I'm sure you will anyway.
