MEEHAN: Well, I think he said this weekend that he regretted some of the language that he used during his testimony. And that is something that he has apologized for and feels that he has regrets. But in terms of his service, in terms of his crew members, he's very proud of the men that he served with and the time that he served in the military.
LOL!

(Kerry said he wasn't at the '71 plot-to-kill meeting, then, he was but voted NO, now he can't recall)

Thanks for posting this. I'm finally reading it.
John O'Neill is very straight to the point and articulate (the real kind of articulate, not the fake pronouncements of the effing one).
Very good.
Meehan was weasely in avoiding answering Wolf's questions.

Well, here is my experience for what it is worth.
I was sp5, company clerk in headquarters company (HHC) for the 589th engineering battalion in Phan Rang AB, Vietnam, Mar-Dec 69. Phan Rang was south of Cam Rahn Bay, which was thought of as sort of a vacation spot for us grunts.
I was company clerk, and so produced the morning report & other reports for HHC, and other duties. During my tour I only saw one incident that might be considered an "atrocity", where the driver of a 2 1/2 ton truck accidentally hit two kids on a bike, and killed them, and HHC captain had to drive down to town to pay the parents reparations, which were rather meager. Despite the other 4 companies being in the boonies, building roads, fighting off VC, no other incident was reported.
So from this knothole, the 589th US soldiers were not engaged in the Kerry alleged misconduct during in 1969.

BLITZER: On Sunday, John Kerry told Tim Russert that if anyone wants to see his military records, they can go to campaign headquarters and review whatever they want. A reporter from "The Boston Globe" went the next day and he was told to leave. He wasn't allowed to see the records. What happened?OK, FR meeting at John E'ffin kerry's headquarters.

Oh you poor thing! That must have been really painful and debilitating... I can't imagine. Were you bedridden or were you given walking casts? And here I felt like I was the only one who could do such a thing. :-p
I'm lucky cuz the location of the pain is on top...so it doesn't hurt much to walk. I just waddle like a duck.

But I was in Coastal Division 11 with John Kerry. I arrived about two months after he left and I had the same small boat he did.John Kerry served 4 mo of a one year tour in Vietnam. O'Neill had the same boat two months after Kerry left. That means this is the man risking his life so Kerry could get back to the safety of the USA. Which one is the real hero?

That speech you played for example in front of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee was broadcast for POWs when they were actually being held in Hanoi. And John Kerry says today only that his rhetoric was bit over the top, a youthful fit of anger? This isn't about rhetoric, it's about the integrity and character of a man who would do this to his fellow soldiers. And youth doesn't explain why over 30 years later John Kerry would vote for a war he didn't support and then against funding our troops that he did support. No man with the Viet Nam experience and knowledge he claims would have ever pulled the Iraq vote stunt he did.

His first tour was on a carrier in an electronics unit, not in country. He then volunteered to be a skipper of a small boat like his hero JFK. Once there he figured out how to get back out as quickly as he could -- three purple hearts in four months. Some hero!

Anyway, Kerry apparently said terrorists should be treated like perpetrators of crimes. Their apprehension should be more of a law enforcement than WoT issue. Kerry would have the terrorists served with subpoenas and require them to appear in court.LMAO....What a joke......apparently Kerry has NO idea of how terrorist operate! HE NEEDS TO GET A CLUE! Now I can see why he was the type of person who would come back from a war and say all the things he did. He had NO clue even then.

Alibris has a copy for $659.95. This is not an auction site, so that is the purchase price.
