John Kerry or Frank Burns???
Here are some MASH quotes that apply equally well to JF'inK
Frank: What I don't understand is why do people take an instant dislike to me?
Trapper: It saves time, Frank.
A Korean on Frank: I don't know his name. He had what we call in Korea a real fertilizer face.
Frank: I'm sick of hearing about the wounded! What about the thousands of wonderful men who are fighting this war without any of the credit or the glory that always goes to those lucky few who just happen to get shot?
Margaret: You lied to me, Frank! That's worse than stealing!
Frank: Well, I happen to think that stealing is worse than lying!
Margaret: And you did both!
Frank: So I oughta know!
Frank: The way I see it, unless we each conform, unless we obey orders, unless we follow our leaders blindly, there is no possible way we can remain free.
Frank: It was one of those days that, more than most, reminds us that war, no matter how much we may enjoy it, is no strawberry festival.
Frank: I won't let you down, Sir.
Potter: There's no way that you could
Frank: Give me a man when he's 28 and he's mine for life.
Margaret: Oh, Frank! For a moment there, you looked like you had a chin!
Frank: What has he got that I haven't got?
Margaret: Lips!

However, that may soon change, if Senator Kerry will only cooperate. In early March, 2004, the Washington Times revealed a statement by former assistant secretary of defense W. Scott Thompson, who recalled a conversation with former chief of naval operations Elmo R. Zumwalt, Jr. Zumwalt, who commanded naval forces in Vietnam, and had personally decorated Kerry, said that Kerry had created "great problems" for him and other Navy brass... "by killing so many non-combatant civilians and going after other non-military targets." The admiral reportedly added, "We had virtually to straitjacket him to keep him under control..."

How can you be sure the others weren't just as bogus. The others aren't applying for the job of Commander In Chief of the United States of America!

They show Kerry ..., and he suffered shrapnel wounds in his left buttock .... This raises more questions than it answers

Kerry considers it a private medical record. This guy is really dumb! What does he believe that we would think? Private medical records for a scratch! Ba, humbug!

Guess I didn't have the 'knowledge' that Kerry had.
I had to spend a total of 5 weeks in the Hospital for my 2 Purple Hearts.
Guess if I had known what Kerry did...I coulda used the two minor shrapnel wounds on my right arm (still have the scars) to go home early.
Sheesh.....

The Navy gave Kerry's campaign 150 pages of documents last week.
Today, under immense pressure, he released 13 to the public.

No doubt we'll soon hear Kerry say, "I know what it is to be bruised."

In case people did not see Carl Cameron's report on FOX - he said that the remainder of Kerry's documents (officer evaluation reports) were still at the Pentagon.
Carl reminded that President Bush has released all of his information, but it was unclear if Kerry would do likewise.

"Dengrating the service & medals of one - brings into question the service & medals of all."
But it was alright for Kerry to denigrate each and every soldier who served in Vietnam by claiming they had ALL committed atrocities on a regular basis? And as far as his medals go, he saw fit to let everyone think that he'd thrown them over the fence at the Capitol Building, so what's the big deal? If he had no respect for the medals then, whether they had been his or someone else's, why should we give him any respect about it now? Kerry is the one who has bragged repeatedly about his Vietnam service. He's the one who brought it all up first and the Democrats have touted it, and belittled the service or non-service of others. It's my opinion that Kerry opened the door for questions to be asked and his military record & medals he received are fair game.

See this response.
This is where I was going in the other thread.
I think his PHs were awarded after the fact and created out of whole cloth.
