Postage Stamp Celebrating Muslim Holiday To Be Re-Issued
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Postal Service is pleased to announce that the Eid postage stamp will be re-issued on Oct. 10, 2002, at the current First-Class rate of 37 cents.
A 34-cent Eid stamp was first issued on Sept. 1, 2001, at the annual Islamic Society of North America's convention in Des Plaines, Ill. The new version will be available beginning Oct. 10 at Washington, D.C. post offices and at post offices across the country starting the following day.
Q. Who was responsible for the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103? A. Muslims.
Q. Who was responsible for the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993? A. Muslims.
Q. Who was responsible for the bombing of the Marine barracks in Lebanon? A. Muslims.
Q. Who was responsible for the bombing of the military barracks in Saudi Arabia? A. Muslims.
Q. Who was responsible for the bombing of the American embassies in Africa? A. Muslims.
Q. Who was responsible for the bombing of the USS Cole? A. Muslims.
Q. Who was responsible for the attack on the Twin Towers on 9-11-01? A. Muslims.
Q. Who are killing American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan today? A. Muslims.
Q. And who has issued the Muslims their own holiday stamp on our Christmas?
A. The United States Postal Service.
Today the United States Postal Service remembers and honors the EID MUSLIM holiday season with a commemorative first class holiday postage stamp.
How ironic is this??!! The U.S. Postal Service issues the Muslims their own "Seasons Greetings" stamp.
But don't even think about posting the Ten Commandments on federal property.
In honor of all the Americans killed by the Muslims, shouldn't everyone protest at the post office and boycott the Muslim stamp?

I will never buy such a stamp. Evil and terrorism can all be traced to Islam, and Mohammed is the one who is against Christ and teaches that when Jesus comes again that he will follow Muhammed. What blasphemy! What is wrong with our nation? Some of us are not willing to play Let's Pretend.
We are either for Christ, or against him. Islam is against Christ, making him no more than a liar.

I hadn't thought of that. I think sales would be down in no time.

While standing in line the woman in front of me asked for some stamps. The cashier gave her US flag stamps. The woman refused them and in a loud voice said that she would never put that disgusting stamp on her letters showing a flag from the country of hatred and slavery. This happened in early 2002. True story.

Did you ask her what country she was from? If we're lucky, she was just visiting here.

I'd rather see a petition to get this one produced, than a boycott against the "DIE" stamp.

Jeez, and I didn't even say a word when the hippie at the campus post office stuck a Paul Robeson stamp on one of my letters!
To: RightWingAtheist

At the pack and mail place where I buy my stamps, the clerk/owner just puts two sets on the counter for me to choose from. One is the Eid set, the other is Old Glory. I pick up Old Glory. The Eid set goes back into the drawer. Nothing need be said during that transaction.
Her husband once jokingly told me that they can't sell any of the Eid stamps.

I refuse to use them.
If they were not self-stick, I would spit on the wrong side. I may spit on the wrong side anyway.
