WASHINGTON -- Amid questions about his military records, John Kerry's campaign yesterday provided documentation of Vietnam War injuries that included shrapnel wounds to his arms, legs and buttocks that earned him three Purple Hearts.
Kerry spokesman Michael Meehan said the campaign was in the process of compiling the rest of Kerry's naval record and planned to begin posting it on Kerry's Web site by day's end. Kerry said all his military records are available to the public during an appearance Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press."

The records did not provide evidence that Bush was in Alabama during a period when Democrats have questioned whether he reported for service.
The AP just had to through this in.

Another press release indicated that his campaign is withholding some relevant information. So not ALL of his records are being released. I hope this turns into a major storm of protest.

I don't question his war record, but I do question his record since he got out. Just look what he has done since then, everything to scuttle our defense, and intel agencies. That is more than reason for me to throw the bum into the brig for life!

The campaign could not locate a similar report for Kerry's original Purple Heart. Imagine applying to any college and telling them you had grades for 2 of 3 classes, but documentation for the third class was "unavailable". These transparent slimeballs think they're fooling everybody.
To: Incorrigible
Not surprising that they did, but disappointing nonetheless. Can you imagine a story on Bush's records throwing in a similar Kerry reference?
Kerry made military service - his and Bush's - an issue. So now he has to follow through and release his records.
Please, America, don't vote for John Kerry!

Whenever I hear the Dems say Bush ONLY served in the guard, it's yet another example of how the media doesn't let the public know all the facts. #1 Flying jets is extremely dangerous #2 While Bush was in the guard, he was one member of a 4 man/pilot group that had VOLUNTEERED for duty in Vietnam! (2, more experienced pilots, were chosen to go)
Wonder if it'll ever be reported in the news. I won't even bother to hold my breath!

Here is a thread from yesterday. The links to the documents are also here. There are only two casualty reports for three purple hearts.

Incorrigible,
Can you post the link to the pdf here?
It shows that both times Kerry made sure that his family was NOT notified. If the third one shows the same thing than I would have to call him a sneaky SOB.
To: TMSuchman
How about if he purposely applied for the 3 and out loophole. If he planned in advance to use this to desert his men and his post, is he a hero or a bum?

Right, Dubya's records didn't prove that 'he' was there, but they proved his teeth were. (remember that asinine statement by one 'journalist')
