CSPAN begins by showing a clip from the Cavett show. Kerry says "And you never burned a village" as if O'Neill is lying.

Showing part of the debate from Cavett now - I noticed for the first time that Kerry's hands were shaking...

I missed O'Neill on CNN yesterday and am just seeing him.

Not there to debate the war but to refute the assertions about the war crimes.

Knew Kerry was lying in 1971 and knows it is a lie today.

Now CSPAN airing a clip from last Sunday's MTP saying he used "excessive language".

"The words were honest, but on the other hand a little bit over the top".

O'Neill says that was not an apology. He quotes from Kerry back in 1971 smearing soldiers.

O'Neill holding up a copy of "The New Soldier"---he's got the book!

Explaining that the book is out of print and hard to get a hold of. Explaining what type of book it is.

O'Neill says Kerry had about 1/4 of a tour of duty.

Normal length of service was about 12 months, Kerry left in about 4 months. Explains Kerry left with the 3 purple heart rule and that his injuries amounted to taking tweezers to remove a minute piece of shrapnel.

O'Neill says others who were right there with him are very angry. Angry about Kerry's claims about his service and claims about war crimes.

Good to see John O'Neill come out and start speaking. He is a very well respected attorney locally. A real litigator.

Ah ha! He just mentioned Jugs book! Stolen Valor! Burkett is working on some new Kerry info. right now.

Kerry won't be the Dem. nominee.

O'Neill never heard of anyone burning a village. It simply did not happen.

Kerry made up the things in his 1972 book. When you check the credentials of those quoted they never even went to Vietnam. They claimed they committed war crimes and weren't there.

Navy built a village back up that had been burned. He quotes Kerry's "Ghengis Khan" comment and says that is a lie.

Next caller: Bill Wilson, 78 years old WWII vet. The greatest component Americans must look for in a president is character. Wilson said he heard Kerry say in Michigan he is Catholic and even thought of being a priest, yet he's for abortion.
