There were eight "Gay Militia" members and 25 Christian activists. The Bible does not prohibit the use of violence. Jesus Himself advised His disciples to sell their cloak if needed to buy a sword. (And He didn't mean the King James Bible, but a sharp pointed, bladed instrument made of steel.) The Christian activists should have demanded that the perverts leave. If the sodomites stayed, the Christians should have sung, "This is the day that the Lord hath made!" and beat them to a pulp.
From what I understand, Canadian conservatives and Christians are far more beaten down than their American counterparts. Had the Christian activists in Calgary done the right thing, even if the authorities arrested them, it would have done wonders for the morale of decent Canadians.

Jim Blake, a member of the Christian group, told the paper he was "dumbfounded at the fact that the Gay Militia would storm into a private meeting where we were praying and discussing Bill C-250, a bill that will affect our freedom as Christians to discuss certain beliefs."
If Christians did this to a gay group, they'd be in jail for a hate crime. Special rights, not equal rights. This is very sad!

"To turn the other cheek" means to turn around and face humilator face to face.
