John Kerry has a piece of shrapnel in his left thigh from an injury he suffered in the Vietnam War, his doctor said Friday during a review of 36 pages of the Democratic presidential candidate's military medical records.

Hardly. Do you really believe that liberals care one whit for the military or America? They don't. As a matter of fact, they're more likely to praise you if you spend your time in Canada as opposed to the battlefield. Military service is something they don't even approve of, much less support.

And, unlike liberals, Republicans don't play the little hypocritical game of reviling the military until it becomes politically important enough to lie about suporting it. And that's exactly what they're doing. Their "war hero" has spent his entire military career being anti-military. As a matter of fact, he started his political career by condemning the military and everyone in it.

So, since "we're all the same," perhaps you can tell me how Republicans are anti-military, anti-America, how we've lied about what our soldiers have done on the battlefield. Has any prominent Republican established a political career based on lies about the military like Kerry has?

Our criticism of John Kerry's military career isn't the same as condemning the entire military as an institution. We'll leave that to liberals like Kerry who hate the military and everything it represents.

Do you seriously think we should have allowed all that lying about Bush to go unrefuted? And should we have allowed Kerry to position himself as a holier-than-thou war hero who was untouchable simply because he served? He has used that Viet Nam record to imply that his Senate votes nor his post war attacks on the military go unrefuted.
