He has "his medals" prominently displayed in his office. His claim is that he threw his ribbons and someone else's medals who could not attend. His VVAW friends were not happy to hear he "appeared" to throw his medals, but did not.

From JohnKerry.Com:

FACT: John Kerry is proud of the work he did to end the Vietnam war. The Nixon Administration made John Kerry one of its targets and Kerry's rightwing opponents have been smearing him ever since. John Kerry threw his ribbons and the medals of two veterans who could not attend the event, and said “I am not doing this for any violent reasons, but for peace and justice, and to try to make this country wake up once and for all.” [Tour of Duty, Douglas Brinkley]

Damn, he can't even help but parse his words on his own web site.

it could mean that ABC was about to kill the story

Wow, good observation. You very well could be right... It won't be killed now!

WAIT! He had medals? Was he in Viet Nam or something? Is he a veteran?

although he didn't have the privilege of defending Texas from a Charlie invasion, he did a tour on a patrol boat in the Nam.

Kerry: I dreamed of being the second black president so my "Sugar Mommy" told me to wear her bronze tanning makeup.

Kerry still has his own medals.....he showed them to a Boston Globe reporter back in 1996 I think.....when he ran against Weld.

To be a good liar one must possess a keen memory.............this guy apparently doesn't possess the later and therefore can not be the former.

I'll be happy once the video is shown. Stories like this tend to disappear.

Possible Kerry responses:

"I actually said I threw away my medals before I said I didn't"

"Those were my families medals"

"???"

Oh, that's good!!!

"admits throwing own medals" is the wrong title, because he never threw his own medals. He claimed at one point they were his, but then we find out later they were belonged to someone else and he kept his. Then he said he never said they were his medals, and now drudge says GMA will show a video of him saying exactly that.

Just wait until it is figured out that Kerry probably claimed his medals were 'lost or misplaced' and reapplied for them AGAIN, which would explain why Sec Lehman's signature is on his approval documents, some 10-15 years later?

Bingo. I think you figured out the mystery of Lehman's signature.
