I now think that ALL Muslims need to be round up and shot. Men, women, and children. ALL OF THEM.

I'm not for rounding them up and killing them all. But I'm absolutely for a little ethnic cleansing and removing all them from all western countries.

Some cultures simply are not compatible with others.

Once upon a time, in a place not too far from here but not too close either, on a cold winter day a young man walking through the forest found a snake that was almost frozen to death.

After thinking about it a minute, the young man picked up the snake and tucked him under his heavy coat where the snake would be warm. Now the snake was a very poisonous snake but the young man wasn't afraid. He was sure that when the snake warmed up and came back to life it would be so grateful that it would be his friend.

As he keep walking through the cold woods, the young man thought about how wonderful it would be having this snake for his friend. How he would impress his friend. How people would admire him for being so brave and clever.

Now he had not walked too far when he could feel the snake stirring to life, and his parted his coat just a little to look at the snake. But no sooner had he done this than the snake -- fast as lightening -- sprung up and sunk its fangs into the young man's neck.

"How could you do this to me?" asked the young man has he lay dying. "I saved you from freezing to death. I warmed you with my own body."

But the snake,sliding carelessly away, merely replied, "You knew what I was when you took me in."

I appreciate you pointing out the obvious. I do not believe that I implied that it was. I wrote about civilizations. Rome was not Christian. This did not stop the two of them from fighting it out for centuries.

You lose me. Roman fought and invade areas all across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Sometime they invade these areas numerous times (Gaul) and fought for centuries. I don't think it was a middle east/europe thing.

Although aznative came on a little strong, he seems to recognize that we are in a war. At least the other side calls it a war. Maybe we should acknowledge that we really are at war.

I would agree with him to the point that we must identify the enemy and defeat them by one means or another, quickly and with as little loss of life on our side as possible. I really think that the WWII model should be looked at. Several enemy cities, not just Hiroshima and Nagasaki, were turned into smoking ruins with hundreds of thousands of civilian casualties. Internment camps were set up and filled with people on the basis of their ethnicity.

We won WWII. Although people will not admit it, there are many parallels with the present struggle. It really is good versus evil and when you are battling evil you sometimes have to use unconstitutional methods. You also have to fight the war with less regard for the civilian population of the enemy than is now being shown.

aznative is somewhat extreme, but he does have the basic recipe for victory.

You know what's so troubling about what you've said? I feel the EXACT same way, and it goes against EVERYTHING I've ever thought or believed in.

In part, I blame our government for not dealing fast and furious with eliminating these savages. Force and total brutality is the ONLY thing they understand. What concerns me the most is that we are appeasing them now, in America.

When I heard about the town in MI that's going to allow Muslim prayers over loud speakers 5 times a day, it threw up a warning flag to me. Most of the non Muslims have sold out and moved to get away from them and the remaining citizens have caved into them out of fear. This is how Muslims will gain control in our Government if we don't stop them now. Muslims have the SAME plan for ALL of America, and they have us on the run!!

The Middle East had a period of strength about 1000 years ago and they almost conquered Europe.

Thousand years ago? Try a little less. In 1571 Venice defeated the Turks at the battle of Lepanto.The Turks besieged Vienna in 1683. Up till then Islam had been constantly threatening Europe.
