Two new details here, one is that the chemicals were bought for cash and may not have been prepared Chemical Weapons, but something to be improvised before use.
The second point is that some target were to be attacked with explosives and others with poison gas. This makes sense as there was a large quantity of explosives found. If the explosives were used at the same place as the poison gas, the heat and violence of the explosion would have destroyed much of the poison gas.
Still no word on what kind of poison gas was involved.

Why or how are the Jordanians getting these cowards to speak so quickly, and secondly, why are they broadcasting what they are saying? There has to be a reason.

This story keeps fading away and returning. It's days old and keeps being reported like it just occurred. The second time it was resurrected I thought it was the second occurrence.

At least one reprot indicated these guys may have been roughed up a little.
Not that there's anything WRONG with that, particularly given what these creeps were planning.

The Hasemite King of Jordan is a direct descendent of Mohammed. Is nothing sacred to them (unless the U.S. is doing the attacking of course)?

What caught my attention was Azmi al-Jayousi's statement that he received his training from Al-Zawahiri "in Iraq, prior to the fall of Afghanistan.'
This simple statement proves, once and for all, that there was a relationship between Al-Qaeda and Iraq prior to the beginning of the Liberation of Iraq, just like the president said there was.
Zawahiri is not a chemist, suggesting that the tools and techniques for the explosive-chemical hybrids were supplied by the Iraqis.

All this talk about them getting the chemicals from Iraq is nonsense. Everyone knows you can just get them here:

This doesn't bode well for the region. Al Qaeda's ability to organize a WMD strike against other Arabs indicates to me that unless we can dismantle the regimes in Iran and Syria, there is going to be complete chaos shortly in the Middle East. If this attack had succeeded on that kind of scale, the region would have been plunged into war (Jordan vs. Syria, Israel vs. Iran).
