Yes, Piestewa was driving that humvee with 1st Sgt. Dowdy in the front passenger seat and two 3rd I.D. soldiers, Buggs and Anguiamo in the rear passenger seats and Lynch riding on the transmission hump between Buggs and Anguiamo.
Lynch would seem to me to be in the worst position to survive a crash, but instead she was the only survivor.
