Last weekend I took my 6yo girl to see the Clifford movie (which happened to be playing at the mall). I witnessed a mom/kid battle in the restroom. The girl looked to be 11-12 range, and was washing her hands. Mom suddenly pulled up the girls pants, pulled down her shirt, and said the clothes would be gone if she didn't wear them the right way. (yeah Mom!!). Saw assorted young women looking like baby hookers. (My kids will never go to the mall to hang out). The worst was an adult women, who had her belly hanging out (don't know if she was pregnant or just had a gut). Her face looked too old for the clothes and she looked really ridiculous. IMO, if only the parents would grow up, the kids wouldn't be looking so trashy on such a large scale.

Last weekend I took my 6yo girl... Enjoy every second of having a 6 year old girl.
Day before yesterday I got up early and was doing some work on my computer. I was working with some directories when I chanced upon some old songs that I had loaded into a folder of her favorite songs.
I hadn't heard them in years, so I listened to snippets of Barney songs, some old Disney songs, etc. By the time, I played "Once Upon a December" from the Anastasia movie, I was bawling like a baby, alone in the dark of my office.
She turned 13 two weeks ago. I love her more than life just as she is, but I will always miss that little 4 - 9 year old bundle of sweetness.

Thankfully our movie houses are separate.
Last time I went to the mall. I thought that the red light district had moved indoors.
