It came out in the Nichols trial here in OK that witnesses saw John Doe #2 with Nichols and McVeigh. My take is the FBI saying there was no such person was a cover-up of who was really the brains behind the bombing!

Some interesting facts related to Padilla and Oklahoma City:

The amount of circumstantial evidence linking the likes of Timothy McVeigh to Jose Padilla and Terry Nichols to Al Qaeda's Ramzi Yousef is truly mind-blowing. Not to mention the design similarities between the OKC bomb and the bombs being made for an Al Qaeda attack on New York landmarks in the summer of 1993.

According to Padilla's early 1991 arrest record, literally the only feature that separates him from the 1995 description of John Doe #2 is which arm they had a tattoo on (Padilla his right, Doe #2 his left.) (This could be an error by a person giving the description.)

One very interesting note, when McVeigh spent a few months in Plantation, Florida, Padilla happened to be working at a Taco Bell in Plantation. Now, can anyone guess what McVeigh's favorite food to eat during his trial happened to be?
