Twenty years ago (she's now 65) she was married to John Heinz, right?

Kerry is toast. All this is just too weird, the American people won't be able to hack it.
Bush will be celebrating a landslide about 6 months from now.

As much as I dislike Teresa, I think she did the right thing. (Provided the facts of this post are accurate). Why the hell does she even get pregnant at age 45 anyway?

We're fourty something parents who had a baby, long after the earlier batch. So too did a couple of our friends. Every single one of us claimed we would go full term delivery with any child of ours, regardless of any birth defects. A few developmental complexities showed up, but all in all, gifts from god.

Sure I read the article, but you know how these Dems are - they'd lie about the time of day.
Unless she submits some medical records and photos for public review, it's not likely anybody is going to believe this story.
Woman is building up a pile of stuff she's gotta' deliver on ~ her tax returns, her medical history, photos, etc.

How severely deformed? Didn't she have the money to see that the child would be taken care of, or afforded every medical treatment necessary? Would she have been embarrassed to have a child not totally A1? What would her friends and associates think? Would John F.Kerry have left her? Would John or whomever been disgusted by the child Terheyzah produced? 20 Years ago, was she married to John or Mr. Ketsup then? Or was she married at all? Well, there we go, that narrows it down. It is alright to murder a child with a birth defect or two. Not a normal child, or should I say fetus? Lovely!
To: Carl/NewsMax
....upon learning she was carrying a fetus that would be born severely deformed, made an appointment to end the pregnancy," What a convenient way to blunt her former "pro-life" statement.
Sorry...but, I don't believe a word from the mouth of either Heinz-Kerry.
To: smonk
Sure, but why do this now? The idea of a first "lady" who brags about deciding to off her own child will cost the Kerry-Heinz's far more votes in the general than it gains them. It's like she is trying to do everything she can to be unlikable.
To: wingnuts'nbolts
She married Kerry in 95'.
Probably when she was married to Heinz.
To: Miss Marple
Truthfully, my dear Miss Marple, cleft palates aren't even a major problem in this day and age - maybe in a third world country, but no one in this country really has a worry due to the marvels of modern medicine - hence your own progeny. God bless her and you for caring for her @ a young age.

I find him plenty objectionable, but that sort of sentiment is neither smart, useful, or needed.Well, I stand by what I said.
To: passionfruit
She must be lying about the miscarriage because she acts like she had an abortion. Why even bring up the abortion if she did not have it?

What right thing?
Planning to deny another of his, or her fundamental right to life?

"I am 44 and I would not do what Mrs. Kerry did." As a man, I don't know. Pre-menopausal women still have healthy eggs. It seems something happens to the chromosomes over time.

it happened NOW rather than EARLIER because there wasn't
any EARLIER. (if that makes any sense).
people have been predicting that the shoes would be dropping
right and left during the general election campaign because
the primary campaign was so condensed and lacking in general.

To: O Neill
Please, O'Neill, Heinz Ketchup has already disavowed any association with the afforementioned Mrs. Heinz-Kerry; as a matter of fact, I think Heinz Ketchup has been proven to give more money to conservative causes than liberal ones. It's a shame that people still think she has anything to do with the company. All her money is in trust.

How odd that her tax returns have the sanctity of complete privacy, but the contents of her uterus and quality of eggs is eagerly served up for public consumption?
What horrendous people!
Hey, has Hillary adopted that baby yet that she wanted to adopt in the 1996 presidential race?
Procrastinating I guess?

I'm 44, and my children are 18,16, and 13. Yet if by God's grace I were to find out tomorrow that I were pregnant with an imperfect child, I would gladly welcome them into my home. Difficulties in life are just something we need to work at to overcome, and with God's help, that's possible.

How tragic for his wife (and for him) to have conceived a severely deformed baby. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. . . That's a severely twisted take on the situation you have there.
I think it is tragic for the child that his mother wanted to kill him. I think it is tragic that even on FR some people can't see that a human is a human, created in the image and likeness of God.
And FYI, there are plenty of women who give birth after 40, and Lord knows I'm thankful for it!
