Verrry interesting. Worth noting that Dr. Wilkening said he "Just doesn't see the threat". What exactly is the Stanford Center for International Security and Cooperation? Cooperation with whom? Can you have security and cooperation together?
BTW, The pictures are awesome.

Can you have security and cooperation together?

In some instances, yes. The problem is that "cooperation" is a descriptive state, not a prescriptive state. "Cooperation," in and of itself, is neither good nor bad. If cooperation is the best way to achieve a certain goal that all of the cooperating parties find desirable or necessary, then cooperation can be described as "good."
