Fax CBS to stop the BiaS!

Well, CBS has gone and finally made me angry enough to actually post something on here. We've all heard about the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth and their mission to stop John Kerry. CBS has evidently taken it upon themselves to start a smear campaign on this group, and I feel we need to let them know we won't stand for it! I email and faxed the following message to the CBS Evening News newsroom, and you can, too! Feel free to copy and paste, edit, and add your own notes as you see fit.
My fax to CBS:
*************
Your story, "Vets Attack Kerry On Vietnam," as posted online was simply a story to discredit those who criticize John Kerry, showing one very limited viewpoint and ignoring hundreds of others who have spoken out against Kerry in this anti-Kerry. By choosing to purposefully discredit this group because of the history of one or two members and ignoring the many Democrats in the group, I feel that CBS has purposefully slanted its coverage to be more favorable of Kerry and for this reason I will no longer be supporting CBS or its sponsors. I regret no longer being able to watch my college football in the fall, but I feel that journalistic integrity in America is far more important than a few football games.
Perhaps you should look at the long list of "related articles" next to this story and notice the horrific pro-Kerry, anti-Bush slant. New Kerry Ads Tout Biography
Gaps Remain In Bush Guard Service
The Bush 'Smear' Machine
The Gall Of The Chickenhawks
Dem Calls Cheney A 'Chickenhawk'
Vietnam: Did GOP Pick Wrong Fight?
Kerry Pins Medals Flap On GOP
Kerry Releases Navy Records
CBS wonders why most voters think the news is slanted. The bias in your news reporting is atrocious. There is not one single pro-Bush article listed, even though the President stepped forward to publicly condemn the soldiers who committed atrocious acts in Iraq. There is not one pro-Bush link, though there are plenty of slanderous headlines (Chickenhawk, 'Smear' machine, Gall of the Chickenhawks). I would hope that a professional organization such as yours would actually be fair, but I guess that is too much to ask, isn't it?

Hope they take notice. The football line should help. (Something missing at the end of this sentence, though: Hundreds of others who have spoken out against Kerry in this anti-Kerry.)

(Mr. Kerry, why did you remain in VVAW after the assassination plot meeting?)

Good letter, but faxing them just lets them know that people are watching their $hitty network.
If you really want to do something positive, stop watching CBS!
Fax your letter to Fox instead. Maybe they will publish it. That way, you get the word out without boosting CBSs ratings.

you saw that too-- it was so infuriating!
Rather is a real sick, partisan hack.

It should read:

There is a reason they named it "See? BS!"

Well said! STOP WATCHING CBS, NBC, ABC, etc.
CNN and ABC need to advertise in Fox News and The Weekly Standard to generate audience! DO NOT WATCH THESE CHANNELS!
IT'S THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE THEM PAY FOR THEIR BIAS!

See B S could care less about your outrage...
They have their own liberal agenda that goes back to Uncle Walter.
I would suggest you do your temperament a favor and quit watching and/or reading CBS,ABC,NBC,PBS and CNN.
And set your remote to FOX.

Hanoi Kerry at his "moment of glory."
What a piece of ******
The media WILL NOT mention this book.
I will!
The cover is a insult to Iwo Jima vets,
then it gets worse towards Viet Nam vets.
I was there the same time Hanoi Kerry was.
I served on a Destroyer which supplied PBR's
and gave gunfire support in North AND South Viet Nam.
My ship may have even supplied Hanoi Kerry's boat.
I VOW I will do everything I LEGALLY can
to keep this traitor from being elected.
I owe it to those who gave their all.

I don't watch CBS, but it pays to read them and find out what the rats will be using against me the next day. I got that article from a FR post, actually.
To: bigpete_53
Even more effective is to write to the local SeeBS affiliate and let them know that you will no longer be watching their station....AND contact the local sponsors of the Blather broadcast. Advertisers actually hold the key here.

did you see OR question historian Brinkley about this book ? Named it, asked how it would affect Kerry's campaign .. while downplaying it as a throwback to the 70's, Brinkley acknowledged it would NOT help.

Screw CBS. If it wasn't for CSI, Everybody Loves Raymond and golf tournaments, I wouldn't watch the network at all.
Bears poop in the woods, CBS poops out in the open. You aren't going to change either's natural instincts.

Regarding your tagline. I saw John O'Neill last night on Hannity and Commie and he discussed Kerry's book. He had a copy with him and was discussing it.
He also did the same thing on Scarborough Country.
