I agree that things tend to become hysterical. On both sides.

I said it repeatedly over the Fallujah affair where some people (I am not going to name names) absolutely denied the reports that the Marines were indeed retreating. They look kinda foolish know.

What is needed is steadfastness, willing to stand upright through the storm, and never give up, never surrender.

I happen to belive America is currently gifted with such a man. I am less certain if the majority of the American people share those qualites.

no, he is right to upbraid Rummy on this...this investigation has been going on for months, and the Prez was blind-sided by these pics. He let Rummy know that he let him down.
