Sounds like you believe in FREEDOM - but not the freedom of anyone who disagrees with this war to use freedom of speech -- even someone who has lost a spouse in the war. How many relatives do you have in this war - you who put down a war widow?

This woman deserves more respect. She's lost a husband in Iraq. How many relatives do you have in the war, Mr. Macho Man?

How many do you have little miss nay sayer? Destroyer of troop morale.

You are using her for your own FR agenda.

I'm passing along her story - - which she has made public. If it's too much for you, you can always cover your eyes and ears and yell real loud, and maybe you can make difficult facts go away!

Women are the cradle in essence of humanity...

Well .. I have a different take.

People who join the National Guard thinking they get all the benefits and have no responsibilities to the contract they signed are fooling themselves. Obviously, this wife had no idea what committment her husband had made to the NG. Obviously, she thought because he was doing paperwork, he would not be in harm's way. EVERY SOLDIER WHO IS CALLED TO "ACTIVE" DUTY IS PUT IN HARM'S WAY, WHATEVER THEIR JOB OR THEIR LOCATION.

It's sad to me that the husband never bothered to explain to his wife and his family what his REAL committment was. Surely he knew .. surely he trained .. surely he didn't sign up not knowing what the chances were he would be called.

I take it from your response that none of your family think this war is important enough to volunteer for it. No wonder you have no problem with the body counts - none of your relatives are in harms way.

Lavinia continues, "I wish I was there to watch over him and tell them that it's not right to send him as part of a protective escort when he could barely shoot."

And he still voluntarily joined the Guard? I have to respect someone willing to standup for their beliefs despite personal shortcoming.

What a shame his wife can't respect her own husband.

We call creatures who feed off the death vulture and buzzards around here. What do you call carrion eaters down there?

It's really sad to see "conservative" "patriotic" freepers trashing a grieving war widow.

Women have the most wimpy viewpoints on the world. I don't know why we even listen to them. No logic whatsoever. No facts whatsoever. Just emotion. Like children.

Oh, yeah, we're all alike and have exactly the same opinions.

:eyeroll:

Look at my profile, Bucko and tell me we all have the same opinions.

You post one disgusting thread after another that tear down this war. There's plenty of room for you at Lew Rockwell, Anti-war and DU. Only a dufus is oblivious of your anti Iraq agenda. The war is in a tough phase so this is when you choose to spread demoralizing garbage.

You have plenty of company on the left, with Democrats, with John Kerry, and college age anarchist kooks. Lovely!

No WMDs. Many dead Americans. But no WMDs.

How do you know?

Naw, it's only sad that you're dragging this poor wretched woman up for your political agenda.

I have nothing against her making statements that dishonor her husbands voluntary service...but if you want to stoop to try and use it for your agenda go right ahead.

In contrast to you who are merely *using* her? LOL.

Well, Mr.Seditionist, I have 4 on the way or there already and a fifth going as soon as her unit's training cycle is completed. This woman squats on her husband's grave. So do you.
