I wouldn't hold my breath for the retraction. The NYT wouldn't retract it, just as the AP is still running the photo and the claim of the guy who says that US solders tied him to a tree and sodomized him. They will not retract because they WANT it to be true; their world-view demands that it be true.

And, horribly, I expect that there will come some kind of a terrorist attack this Fall, thousands will die, and the Arabs will rejoice and say that we deserve it because of the humiliation we afforded a few of their people.

Meanwhile, Kerry (D-Hanoi) will continue attempting to turn everything he can into political fodder with which to attack Bush. Zogby is right ... the election is Kerry's to lose, and he is losing it. How can we know that? Look at the relentless attacks from the Lamestream press ... book after book for a few weeks, then politically biased hearings, now this. What's next? I expect the media will come up with pictures of Rumsfeld (photoshopped, of course) raping Iraqi boys. And, of course, they'll believe it.

Meanwhile, Kerry (D-Hanoi)...
lol, that's a good one!

... the election is Kerry's to lose,
Zogby is a (D) himself; I'll digress, elections are always about the prez, and he had the edge IMHO....
