It's not necessarily meant for us, it's meant for those that don't take the WOT seriously enough, that aren't convinced that we have a committed enemy, committed to our destruction by whatever means possible.

The animals who beheaded the American hostage, Nick Berg, said this afterward:

"For the mothers and wives of American soldiers, we tell you that we offered the U.S. administration to exchange this hostage with some of the detainees in Abu Ghraib and they refused," one of the men read from a statement.
"So we tell you that the dignity of the Muslim men and women in Abu Ghraib and others is not redeemed except by blood and souls. You will not receive anything from us but coffins after coffins ... slaughtered in this way."

This is what we get when we say we are too civilized to humilate people and then apologize for it --- it's an announcement that we are weenies and they can attack us without fear of retribution because "we are better than they are."

That's no way to win a war. This is not a Sunday School class - it is a WAR against people who HATE US and WANT US DEAD. We need to win it immediately and decisively. We can work on winning their hearts and minds after we have won everything else first.

This claim that they offered an exchange for their hostage is further proof that the prisoners in Abu Ghraib are their cohorts in murderous atrocities against Americans. Kill them. One hundred Iraqi prisoners must die (we have plenty of murderers in custody to serve this purpose) for every American hostage killed.

No more of this "we are better than this" nonsense. Deader is not better. The only proof of our superiority that will be accepted is our swift and terrible victory. They are losers. Let them get used to that undeniable fact as quickly as possible, and many lives on both sides will be saved.

The irony of those words coming from the mouth of one of Hollywood's most liberal, anti-war, anti-American actors (Martin Sheen) is just sickening.

They are, however, words worth repeating. And words worth hearing in real life. It's time for this country to regain the sense of anger and righteous indignation we felt on September 12th, 2001.

As I've said before...I'd love for the entire world to love the United States. If they can't love us, I'd prefer for them to at least respect us. But if they won't love us, and won't respect us, they had damn well BETTER fear us. Otherwise, we're toast.
