I think the problem that the "little mewling moralists" see is that some reports indicate that many of the "prisoners" are not responsible for these inhuman acts upon their fellow man (whether American, British, fellow Iraqi or any other individuals). They just want America to portray itself as a model for decency.

Of course what these terrorists did was despicable. It was more despicable than what our own soldiers did but magnitudes. However, we are civilized and calm thinkers. We are a model country - other can aspire to be like us. We are above doing anything like this.
