Ketchup boy's vote wouldn't have mattered anyway, as Cheney would have broke the tie.

The only good Democratic Senator is one who doesn't vote.

Ah, but who says? The Bush Administration has extended unemployment benefits in the past.

( Hint: :-) )

More articles today show that Kerry was the only one to miss the vote. Kerry was AWOL on an issue he says is important. Kerry blew it and the press knows it.

Ketchup boy's vote wouldn't have mattered anyway, as Cheney would have broke the tie.

Not in this case, it was a procedural vote because of the money involved. A later vote on the language and approval would have come later. John, being AWOL, killed the whole thing. It is a major political gaffe, as Kerry said that he supported unemployment benefits and cared about Americans. This proves that he doesn't by his own words.

In conservative terms, it would have been as if Bush said he supported tax cuts and it was 50-50 to approve in the senate and he let the VP decide and the VP decided NO. In that case it would have been all over in the papers. But because Kerry is a liberal, there is little if no press on the matter.

But Bush can sink Kerry with this on in Campaign adds. I.E., Bush cares about America, giving tax breaks to America Twice, Kerry doesn't care, he was AWOL on something he supported for America - he only cares about himself.--- Something like that.
