An unnamed source has told THE PATRIOT JOURNAL that the video of the beheading of US civilian contractor Nick Berg by his Al-Queda linked captors is brutal and nauseating. The video shows one of Berg s captors kicking him, shoving him to the ground to his left side. The video then shows a captor pull out a large knife and chop his head partially off. The captors then tug and pull until his head pops off. The captors then hold his head up to the camera as if it were a prop. His arteries can still be seen dangling from his head. THE PATRIOT JOURNAL has been told the entire video is very sickening and disgusting.

No doubt if I saw those poor people falling in person, it would have made a lot more impact....because on tv, it just looked like stick figures, not real people....it was hard to realize that there were real people so deperate for escape that they would plunge for their deaths. Horrid....but the far-off images of folks falling did not really reinforce that.

Have we heard any outrage from any on the left? John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Hillary of course must have quickly condemned this atrocity?

I am afraid that for America to wake up out of their comfy place where the great outrage I heard at work today was not that our congress was trying to wreck our country and military whilst Islamic madmen were sawing off the head of a young Merican,,what I heard was outrage that Bush campaign got a contribution from the medicare card company. there was outrage and just disgust and shock. The beheading and treason was not even on the radar. I think what it is going to take, and God help us all, is another terrible 911, worse than the original with thousands of dead. Then they will wake up. And then, God help the terrorists, because nothing will stop us then and we have the means to destroy most of the world.

I saw those videos too. And I'm still haunted by them. It's the screams that I can't shake from my head.

I saw the video today. It felt like a duty, he died at their hands and the least, the very least I could do was to know what happened. Now I know. And I can see this magnified by the thousands because that is what they will do to all of us given the chance. This is total war as far as I am concerned. A line has been crossed for me and I would support a William T Sherman like move across all Islamic territory.

I watched the video. The visual part of this horror was bad enough to see but the screaming of poor Nick as he was brutally murdered cut me to my soul.

I am praying for him right now and his family.

If that was my child in the video I think I would not be able to live with the knowledge of his or her last minutes.

Politically correct crap that is shoved at us every day by the media and politicans be damned! This country used to know right from wrong, good from evil - what has happened to some of us!

Be strong America and call evil by its name!
