An unnamed source has told THE PATRIOT JOURNAL that the video of the beheading of US civilian contractor Nick Berg by his Al-Queda linked captors is brutal and nauseating. The video shows one of Berg s captors kicking him, shoving him to the ground to his left side. The video then shows a captor pull out a large knife and chop his head partially off. The captors then tug and pull until his head pops off. The captors then hold his head up to the camera as if it were a prop. His arteries can still be seen dangling from his head. THE PATRIOT JOURNAL has been told the entire video is very sickening and disgusting.

We are in a de facto state of religious war. We should pull our troops out of every muslim country. Then launch.

I just watched the murder of Nick Berg. I listened to the all-too-familiar "Allah Akbar!" shouts heard over the screaming of a bound man being decapitated with a knife. It was horrifying, but not surprising. At least not surprising for those of us who know our enemy. As in the case of Daniel Pearle, these images will be suppressed by the media. God forbid, we might demand vengeance. There's a reason we're not shown these execution videos. It's the same reason we do not see planes exploding into the World Trade Center or our fellow citizens jumping to their deaths.

Americans are ruthless in war. But we are not at war. Our military is at war, half our government is at war, but the American people are not. And as long as we are sheltered from the reality of our enemy, we will not go to war.

Of course. And your reasoning is, in a way, laudable. Yet, before we can proceed as we must, a certain change in the public perceptions must occur. Viewing these images can effect that change...though some of us do not have a need for such assistance.

We have our elected asswipes pose and flagellate for the compliant media over some humiliation garbage while ignoring exactly what sub human garbage we are fighting.


The average American has grown so soft....like warm butter...no guts, no will.....absolutely no experience with adversity or unsavory situations. It makes me want to retch....how we have become grovelers politically in only 50 years since we literally "conquered" the world and vanquished our foes.

We have put our fighting men out there on jump street while we lack the will to prevail.

Do we even deserve to prevail? Our enemy are beasts who will stop at nothing. Their culture and their religion is that of savages. We have to destroy their appetite to harm us and for God's sake don't let anymore of them in here.

This is reality.....wake up America! Don't be chumps and let these savages kill a million of us next time....if they can they will. It is the history of Islam everytime they have fought the West and Christendom.

I have no problem with decisive action and actions that will serve as a deterrent to future atrocities, including intimidation and humiliation. I also have no problem with subjecting prisoners to humiliation, discomfort, and stripping in order to extract information. However, revenge is unworthy of us. We don't have to sink to that level, and we don't want to.
