The one thing about these negative trends, they can be rather quickly reversed I reckon.

At least the western nations have an advantage over china and india, who are busily eliminating their female offspring. Now that's no way to get babies.

I figure that in most western countries the birthrate is still 50/50, it would probably only take most women having 3 children to reverse this pernicious trend.
