Reactions to the grotesque jihadist decapitation of yet another "infidel Jew," Mr. Berg, make clear that our intelligentsia are either dangerously uninformed, or simply unwilling to come to terms with this ugly reality: such murders are consistent with sacred jihad practices, as well as Islamic attitudes towards all non-Muslim infidels, in particular, Jews, which date back to the 7th century, and the Prophet Muhammad's own example.
According to Muhammads sacralized biography by Ibn Ishaq, Muhammad himself sanctioned the massacre of the Qurayza, a vanquished Jewish tribe. He appointed an "arbiter" who soon rendered this concise verdict: the men were to be put to death, the women and children sold into slavery, the spoils to be divided among the Muslims. Muhammad ratified this judgment stating that it was a decree of God pronounced from above the Seven Heavens. Thus some 600 to 900 men from the Qurayza were lead on Muhammads order to the Market of Medina. Trenches were dug and the men were beheaded, and their decapitated corpses buried in the trenches while Muhammad watched in attendance. Women and children were sold into slavery, a number of them being distributed as gifts among Muhammads companions, and Muhammad chose one of the Qurayza women (Rayhana) for himself. The Qurayzas property and other possessions (including weapons) were also divided up as additional "booty" among the Muslims, to support further jihad campaigns.
The classical Muslim jurist al-Mawardi (a Shafiite jurist, d. 1058) from Baghdad was a seminal, prolific scholar who lived during the so-called Islamic "Golden Age" of the Abbasid-Baghdadian Caliphate. He wrote the following, based on widely accepted interpretations of the Qur'an and Sunna (i.e., the recorded words and deeds of Muhammad), regarding infidel prisoners of jihad campaigns:
As for the captives, the amir [ruler] has the choice of taking the most beneficial action of four possibilities: the first to put them to death by cutting their necks; the second, to enslave them and apply the laws of slavery regarding their sale and manumission; the third, to ransom them in exchange for goods or prisoners; and fourth, to show favor to them and pardon them. Allah, may he be exalted, says, 'When you encounter those [infidels] who deny [the Truth=Islam] then strike [their] necks' (Qur'an sura 47, verse 4)
. Abul-Hasan al-Mawardi, al-Ahkam as-Sultaniyyah." [The Laws of Islamic Governance, trans. by Dr. Asadullah Yate, (London), Ta-Ha Publishers Ltd., 1996, p. 192. Emphasis added.]
Indeed such odious rules were iterated by all four classical schools of Islamic jurisprudence, across the vast Muslim empire.

Dennis Prager suggested on his show today that maybe the reason Nick Berg and Daniel Pearl were in particular slaughtered like animals is because they are Jewish and there is a particular muslim hatred for Jews. Hence, the reason Israel will fight to the death and know they must win; because to fall into the hands of the enemies is to be butchered and dismembered.

You know this is really simple. He was beheaded because he was an American Jew. Period. That is the custom with the enemy. Why is this so surprising to the American press?

I think sjackson already posted and pinged this early this morning.
no complaints from me - this needs to be beaten into the heads of every denizen of the "house of war" - the jihadis want to kill all of us, and always have, and always will, no matter how nice we treat them.
So let's stop with the genteel biffbaffing, get down to business, and kill them til they learn to sing a different tune.

Of course, this is a reminder of the evidence of Serbs being beheaded by al Qaeda terrorists operating out of the UN "Safe Zone" of Srebrenica.
This also serves to remind us that we Americans and the Serbs face a common enemy.

You're exactly right, they should be taught the lesson of Tamerlane's treatment of Bayezid.

why let them pretend?
start with MOABing Fallujah, then go do the same to "AlSadr City", and then drop a red pill on the Kaaba. A BIG red pill. One of the "Earthshakers" we believe we'll never have a use for.
And then, everywhere on Earth the roaches swarm out in protest, packing the streets with their noisome ranks, NAPALM. And I don't care if that means nape-ing Detroit, either.
DO IT.
EVERY WHERE.
And, then, nail Medina to flavor the lesson.
Repeat as often as it remains entertaining to do so.
Oh, and let Israel know, in public, that it is open season, no bag limit, no rules, happy hunting.
I have had enough of these bastards.
It is time, I think, to make them have enough of US.

Sura 8:12 Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instill terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."
Sounds 'sacred' to me.

No, no! The people on this board want to support bi Laden against the Serbs; they want to cry over Rwanda genocide, but not the Sudanese Christian genocide. They will look the other way as bin Laden blow up Russia, but want Russia to support us. We are either against the Moslem terrorists in every country in every race or we are hypocrites.

We can not defeat Islam abroad until we have defeated Liberism at home.

The people on this board want to support bi Laden against the Serbs...Well, there certainly are some on this board who cheer him on in that regard, but I'm noticing that more Freepers are coming to the conclusion that we bombed the wrong side in Kosovo.
Of course, the fat lady hasn't sung on that one yet!
