In doing some additional research on Nick Berg, I wanted to look into the naming of his business, Prometheus Methods Tower Service. Each business, especially startups by young folks, have a strong attachment to their business name and typically have some sort of secondary meaning behind it.
So, doing a Google search on 'Prometheus' I discovered the Prometheus Radio Project at the URL noted.
On the front page of this site, it states quite clearly the following: "Do you want to travel to far-away countries to build radio stations? Learn how you can build, even on a super-tight budget, by clicking here!"
Sounds like a little start-up operation Berg was trying to get off the ground. I just wonder about his hidden agenda, if there is one. This story has just begun to unravel.
Looks like a bingo to me, and it adds mystery to just who Nick Berg might have been contracting with in Iraq. Did Al Queda want its own broadcast abilities in Iraq?
Just looking at the site-and its aims-I'd guess you're onto something.
I'm planning to be especially careful of what I say on this matter. I have some suspicions, but think it MIGHT be better-legally-to let the major media dig some of this out.
We all like to know what the story is but does it really make a difference? The bottom line is that poor guy (good or bad) is dead. His father and the Democrats/Libs are politicizing his death.
The site if filled with socialist words and phrases.
No, it doesn't really matter. It's just my obsession to see the bigger picture. Believe many Americans have had a wake up call, in spite of the media's gloss-over of the real issue here.
It is being stated that Berg was a supporter of the war and the administration ...I want to know if I am being lied to.
Click on "take action" and read what the box says.
Prudent course. I would love the media to play C-T-D but I don't plan on it.
Here is one of them

Prometheus Outreach Campaign
We're Looking for a few Good Progressives It is deeply ironic that progressives have fought so hard for this service, but right wing churches seem poised to get most of the frequencies. It is all the more ironic because these churches have put little or no effort into establishing the service, and do not seem interested in persuading their Senators to support it- they spend all their efforts on getting as many stations as they can.
Prometheus Radio Project seeks to counter this trend by getting as many legitimate, local progressive organizations and publicly minded institutions to apply for stations as possible.
You have a point, but the outcome is still the same. Man was beheaded by Islamic fascist terrorists. Liberal media focuses on "prison abuse" scandal". Father of deceased blames Bush and Rumsfeld and then meets with John Kerry.
I've seen it stated that he did some volunteer work on the communications system at a Republican convention. Nothing like having a mole handling the technical side of an opponents communications system.
On another thread there was talk of a direct link from George Soros to this Prometheus Radio outfit.
"I think that NPR does a great, great service to the American dialogue in general. They have the capacity to do all sorts of things that community radio can't do. Community radio doesn't have a person in Baghdad - well, actually we do, but NPR can do things that we just can't do. But I also think there are a lot of things that NPR can't do because there is a certain logic to an organization of that size. "
The father opens Pandora's box for publicity purposes and now is trying to close and lock it to get his and his families privacy back.
LOL
What an idiot.
