interesting article. I think the privacy concerns mentioned are quite valid, but I also think that horse left the barn a while ago.

For all intents and purposes, the data is already out there. Our lives are currently scattered among various databases and scoured for information on a regular basis. That will never go away. The only hope for privacy you may have is to drop out of society and go live on a mountain.

Yes, or win this war conclusively. How would Israel be if this machine screened every entrant to a restaurant or public transport. The only thing missing is a gun pointed at the heart of the screenee with instructions on the part of the screener to pull the trigger when explosive belts are found. You see, a few belted terrorists will destroy their share of these machines and it will be difficult to find employees.
