in case of rape or incest,
Why? Is the newly created human to blame for its circumstances? It's hard to respect prolifers who place conditions on their largesse. Is it the bitter fruit of situational ethics?

St. Gianna is the first lay woman canonized who was a wife and mother and whose husband was still alive at the time of her death. Many married women have been canonized but they were all widows. Jose, Cardinal Saraiva Martins, prefect of the Vatican Congregation for the Causes of Saints, said of her, "She lived her marriage and maternity with joy, generosity and absolute fidelity to her mission," This is great, and she was canonized in a short period of time relative to most canonizations.

Double effect is not homocide provided that it is done in a legitimate way.
And not all procedures to remove ectopic pregnancies are approved by the Church.

If somebody raped YOUR daughter or wife, would you want her to have to carry the seed of the monster who molested her in her womb??
There is a radical fringe on the side of every issue and they generally prevent the more reasonable mass of the majority of people from reaching a fair conclusion.
I would never sacrifice my wife to an unborn child and never force a woman to bear the child of a rapist.
Such is not abortion, but reason.

never force a woman to bear the child of a rapist.
What did the child do that warrants execution?
Forcing a girl to carry an unwanted baby to term is different from forcing a woman to bring a rapist's child to term just how?
