Otherwise known as lie ... and hope the publics' government funded education is sufficient to prevent anyone from reasoning for themselves. Clever.

not to be too picky but Gaffney's title was correct,, the word is "couldn't",, if you could care less then you actually care at least a bit,, the opposite of couldn't caring less,, good article,,,,,
To: Lib-Lickers 2
Yeah, that's one of my pet peeves too. The expression should be "I couldn't care less", not "I could care less".
"Audio-visual" is similar: It should be "auditory-visual" - referring to human senses - or "audio-video" - in reference to the capabilities of devices designed to stimulate said senses.
And don't get me started on "irregardless" :-)

Since the start of the war all the pro-Bush people on this forum and elsewhere have been laughed at, ridiculed, and scorned by the anti-Bush types who told us we were sold a bill of goods and that we were in denial for believing the "obvious nonsense" about there being any wmds at all left in Iraq. Well, well now that they're being found, the real PIDs (people in denial) are intent on ignoring, dismissing, or lying about the ramifications of this find which is this: Saddam HAD wmds and terrorists got their hands on some of them and tried to use them on our troops. Put that in your crackpipe and smoke it PIDs.

You're very welcome, and please don't ever feel you can't post to me.

I still believe that we got West Nile Virus from Saddam Insane, and possibly the anthrax letters as well. But if Wall Street were ever confronted with those thoughts by our president, it may have severely damaged our economy. And I still don't buy all the fear in New York Harbor, remember the radioactive ship? Why did it take so long to find out it was just bricks? Alligator Alley was another one. The plane brought down by 'a flock of birds'. The back-to-back blackouts in the US/Canada and then in the UK a short time later. Sure, one of these incidences, or perhaps two, might not be terror-related. But I'd bet the farm that at least one of them was.

I don't agree with this title. The left does care. They're deeply concerned that the WMD story could wipe their precious prison abuse story off the front page and take away one of their major talking points.

Well we've found them and they are being used on us. They'd be really really "found" if we'd take possession of them.
To: rdb3
The only way the left is going to accept that there were WMDs in Iraq (once they have finished splitting hairs about the time frame: as in 'we mean after the 1st Gulf War there were none') is if we come across an underground site with tons and tons and tons of bio-weapons, and maybe a nuke or two. Anything less than that, including chemical weapons, will just not do.
For the Left Iraq just cannot have WMDs, because if it does then they cannot say the war was a sham.

One shell with three litres of sarin is not exactly what I would call a smoking gun.
