"The left is very afraid that Rudy will be running for elective office in New York. They must try to discredit him to further their own agenda."

The disconnect between the dim/lib spin/attack and reality has never been more pronounced.

Hopefully, enough New Yorkers will be going - "Are they talking about Rudy? OUR Rudy?" And then pick him over Shrillary anyway.

Another photo to add to the Nick Berg/911 collection. Liberal thought processes must stem from a drug trip gone wrong sometime in their life. They have lost all common sense.

He considers himself a loyal republican (with a lot of strange friends).

Keyword would be "HE"

If McCain is soooooooo concerned about Americans aren't making enough sacrifices and that our taxes are too low ... then why doesn't Congress cut back on spending with their Pet Projcts??

Interesting about Krauthammer's remarks - I missed them. I have a lot of respect for Kraut, but disagree with him on this one. It serves McCain's purposes better to remain a Republican. This way he gets all the attention and credit for being a "maverick." He'd lose that if he became just another Dem. And he'd also in all likliehood be joining the Senatee minority.

NYC is populated by too many retards these days - Hilly is Senator for life, they won't turn their back on their patronizing patron.

Good tag line, but you forgot my favorite in that list: "spindled."

GHiuliani was treated by the 9-11 commission with the kind of courtesy they should have extened to ALL those they interviewed, INCLUDING the members of the Bush administration.

They aren't a grand jury, they are a committee of inquiry.

Kean is totally incompetent as chairman of that committee. Disruptive members of the publis - regardless of personal connections with that tragedy - should be immediately removed.

By the way, HOW are a bunch of politicians and government bureaucrats with such limited knowledge of security and defense operations - in general - qualified to conduct an inquiry into this event, ANYWAY???

I think we need a Committee to investigate the 9-11 Committee.

Then it was on to a Katie interview with Maj. Gen. Geoffrey Miller who some time ago made a number of recommendations regarding the way detainees at Abu Ghraib should be interrogated. The Gen. made the point that the abuse was the acts of a small number of people who violated orders and that there was no culture of abuse. Katie was clearly skeptical.

Joining the increasingly insane Chrissy Matthews. He has decided that there is no way on God's green earth the MP's would have access to a dog collar and leash unless they got them from "higher ups" (his new pet phrase---Matthews has a disturbing propensity to get a buzzword or phrase in his head and then repeat it endlessly for days on end) for the express purpose of using them on prisoners.

Nevermind that we already know the low level jerks had access to guard DOGS which probably had *collars* and *leashes* as standard issue and therefore their access to these items does not indicate that they were ordered directly by Rumsfeld to engage in their perversion.

Joining the increasingly insane Chrissy Matthews.

Serious question: what the hell has happened to Matthews? He used to be an honest liberal who would take shots at both sides. He has turned into a grovelling Dem sycophant and partisan Bush-basher.

My only guess is that he's concluded that he has lost the battle for the conservative audience to Fox, and has decided to carve out a niche for himself by sucking up to liberal TV viewers.

I have no idea. Like you I used to think he was open to reason. I used to say that he is susceptible to dem talking points but will concede facts when confronted with them.

No more. He has completely gone off the deep end and has been not just wrong but outright offensive in his wrongness.

Thank You!

A solid morning of fighting the
good liberal fight for The Today Show.

Why would anyone from the Right do an
interview with Katie & Lauer from
with their Far Left Agenda?

Matt says to Katie:
Can you believe we make millions
to make the Republican's look stupid
everyday?

Katie replies
Yes Matt! Isn't it great!!!
Bwaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Rather see Rudy as governor. One of one hundred moronic senators is a waste of his leadership skills.

Yes, but. In becoming Senator he would be defeating Hillary. And he is surely the only NY Republican who could do that. So for that reason I'd much rather see him run for Senate than Gov.

MSNBC will be off the air after the election. Chrissy has only a finite period of time to do his dirty work.....

Again and again Lauer returned to the assertion that the response was imperfect and that as a result lives were needlessly lost.

This has been the latest tactic of those on the left. Why??? Because Rudy, the NYFD,the NYPD, the Port Authority and others did all that they could humanly do under the circumstances that day and, everybody knows it. In the days after 9/11, even the media trumpeted this and, as a result, Rudy is known as "America's Mayor" and, the NYFD and NYPD and others are all referred to as heroes. But you know what? One of the unintended consequences of all the positive publicity has been the positive publicity for Rudy, who is a Republican. The RATS and the media are now in full smear mode, trying to revise history again and redefine Rudy as an inept leader and all the services who responded as being less than prepared for such an event.

These vermin make me sick. When W is re-elected, it will be nice watching them squirm for another 4 years.

Getting a leader in Albany is New York's problem. I want as many U.S. senators in the Republican caucus as possible.

If you think Rudy is conservative you are smoking something.

Did I mention conservative in my post? Then I guess I'm not smoking anything, am I?

You don't have to be a conservative to caucus with the Republicans in the senate.
I'm explaining this to you because you obviously don't understand or didn't read my post. We want committee chairmanships, we want to "run" the senate (maybe someday we will even get a majority leader with backbone, but that's a different issue).

To that end, the more Republicans we can get the better - you will not get a conservative republican senator from NY - Rudy is the best available and the one who can beat Hillary. And when he does, her political career is over - that means no run at the WH in 2008. That is why this commission is attacking him.
