Notice Bush isn't blaming a Secret Service agent for knocking him down.

when he fell while mountain biking on his ranch, White House spokesman Trent Duffy said. Bush was on the 16th mile of a 17-mile ride when he fell I trail bike. Not EVEN true mountain biking. Most I have done so far is a feeble 22 miles. So I can identify sufficiently to comment that Bush mountain bikes 16 miles- He does not pose on asphalt with a $5000 one.
Well, I always like W a lot, but my estimation of him has jumped up another notch.

Top of Drudge.com site says:
"President fell off bike today... Kerry told reporters in front of cameras, 'Did the training wheels fall off?'... Reporters are debating whether to treat it is as on or off the record... Developing... "
IT SHOULD BE ON THE RECORD!!! WHAT A TWERP KERRY IS!

For these kinds of 'scratches' John Kerry would have applied for a PURPLE HEART

"The Secret Service offered to drive him back to the house. He declined and finished his ride."
Which speaks volumes about the man, IMHO.

President Bush suffered cuts and bruises early Saturday afternoon when he fell while mountain biking on his ranch, White House spokesman Trent Duffy said.I've heard he got right back up and kicked some lib's behind. It's the cowboy in him.
I want pictures...

Note what Kerry said:
Kerry Remark on Bush's Fall from the Bicycle

"President fell off bike today... Kerry told reporters in front of cameras, 'Did the training wheels fall off?'... Reporters are debating whether to treat it is as on or off the record... Developing..." (from Drudge)
Kerry himself fell off the bike, fell, while skiing, and fell several times, while snowboarding.
For him to make such a mean-spirited remark, when Bush fell, shows what a low-life Kerry really is.

Sounds as though his mountain bike survived the fall, too, unlike Kerry's several-thousand dollar wheels.

Anybody who does any serious off road biking does an over the handlebars face plant every now and then. I would bet that is what Bush did. Can be nasty.
I also know that anybody who skies regularly does a face plant every now and then. Even if you just blame the secret service.
Been there, done both
The difference between Bush and Kerry is honesty.

President Bush need to be careful or he will be developing Gerald Ford Syndrome very quickly.
President chokes on pretzel
President drops dog on tarmac
President falls off Segway
President falls off mountain bike
Hopefully, we will not see him tumbling down the stairs of Air Force One.

Isn't President Bush supposed to do a televised speech to the nation Monday night? Now he has boo-boos :-(

Here's how I see the scene:
President falls off his bike. Probably racing someone. Gets up and dusts himself off, laughs at himself, poo poohs needing to be checked out and cleaned up by his dr. Lets the dr. do his job, then thanks the dr. for fixing him up and the Secret Service agents for picking up his bike. Continues on his way.
Laura greets him with a hug and teasing when she finds out what happens.
Jenna rolls her eyes and laughs when she hears.
All go about their merry way, with no cursing, no excuses, just humor.

Sand on the asphalt in a turn can skid out a bike rider easily. No excuses, I'll bet.
