There were no toilets in the Huxtable home I'm pretty sure. I remember the episode where Rudy's goldfish died. They flushed it down the toilet. But then again, every sitcom had that happen, so I could be confused.

No you aren't mistaken. I remember that episode, one of the classics, and had a good message on how to approach the death issue with small children.
