So, then: you're okay with Zinni's warm'n'snuggly ties with dangerous Marxist organizations, presumably?

Sure does make hash out of that whole "dangerous ties to a foreign power" argument the Zinnites enjoy lobbing in the direction of those in The EEEEEEvil Cabal, don'cha think...?

OOOOOoooooo! Wish I had seen that.

Me too!!!

I wish he would put that up as a video clip on his site, that's his big 'gotcha' line, and as Mark Levin called him the other day, "Zinni the Ninny", was not well prepared. ;-)

Clancy's success based on the best bit of guerrilla marketing in history: getting a copy of THFRO into Reagan's hand for his photographed walk to Marine One.

He's so "unsavory" that he's one of the best speakers I've ever heard on national TV.

What on earth does being “unsavory” have to do with being a good speaker?

Zinni is being a useful idiot for the President's (and MORE importantly,
the US Military's) political enemies. His affiliation with CDI
puts the lie to his alleged Bush-supporting Republicanism.

"Dangerous Marxist organizations ?????????"

Let's treat our fellow Freepers to a look :

http://www.cdi.org/about/index.cfm

I guess the following US Presidents-who proposed, and tried to implement international disarmament programs were all "dangerous Marxist radicals" as well: Dwight David Eisenhower,Richard M. Nixon,Ronald F. Reagan, George H. Bush, and (almost forgot !) George W. Bush.

Zinni was one of Clinton's Generals, he liked the role and importance. He's just moved in to take Wes Clarke's place in the leftist spin machine.

Unsavory?????

He is a backstabbing POS. It takes a true POS to be in charge of the Cole being so close to shore...and then have the nerve to say the current battlefield commanders have made mistakes.

Yeah...he's a real good speaker...take a gander at one of his speeches from 2000...

Egads! This is unbelievable. Does 60 minutes have a copy of this speech, er rather do they care?

I suppose this is the ONLY place we'll see this, sickening.

Rav, how about posting this as an article on it's own?

Zinni is one of the best speakers you've ever heard? Then I guess you must agree with his philosophy and very peculiar ideas..which seem to be not only partisan, but RED DIAPER BABY flavored old hippy, and French.

It's a great indicator of their own morality and character. So what could one's true values be when they admire and defend a man who sells out his own troops then makes a profit from their deaths?

Or is that why the anti-war freaks like him so much?
