I would love to see Gore's text. Watching him, I can see the thoughts going through his head: Become outraged. Raise voice. Express indignation. Turn corners of mouth down. Increase rage on the word "Rumsfeld."

One of the biggest laughs Chevy Chase ever got on SNL was during one of the "Weekend Update" segments. A picture popped up and he said simply, "Weellll, Gerald Ford." Hell, it's
still funny....
I think Algore has set himself up to be the same joke. And the RNC should use it.

After the senate hearings, there was a lot of talk that Cambone would be the guy to take the hit; that he would leave his post as a sacrificial offering to the Senators. I was very impressed with the guy, thought he did a marvellous job telling the Dems where to "put it"..very politely, of course. It would seem to me, happily, that Gore's diatribe just about gives him job security...tossing him overboard now would seem to be acceeding to Gore's wishes..

Yes, and what are the democrats going to do or say to get attention
after their convention? Think about it. The democrats have to get attention after their convention. They are throwing everything at Bush months before the convention. Do you think they can get any more shrill than this? Do you think the American people will take it any more shrill than this?

One woman described Gore on Limbaugh's show yesterday as the kind of guy who graduates from high school and then returns each afternoon to hang around in the parking lot. Good description!
