The FBI office in Denver has received 'numerous' calls about the seven people believed to be associated with Al Qaeda pictured Wednesday in the newspapers.

Samuel Mac, manager of the Denny's in Avon Co., said two men-he subsequently identified from their photographs as Adnan G. El Shukrijumah and Abderrauof Jdey-came into his Denny's which is just off Interstate 70, Wednesday about 8PM.

One ordered a chicken sandwich and a salad, the other just a salad, Mac said. They were demanding, rude and obnoxious, he said.

They said they were from Iran and were driving from New York to the West Coast.

Monique Kelso, spokswoman for the Denver FBI office said they had recieved at least a dozen calls about the pictures.

"One of the last places I would be looking to find Islamofacists would be a Denny's truck stop."

Is that because they fit in so well with the regular clientele?

I think so. FR can be very brutal to newcomers.

These must be the stupidest Islmofacists ever! (or not watching television and following the media)

'Hi, We're here from Iran in the middle of an airport red alert, traveling the country at Denny's acting rude and obnoxious offending people and calling attention to ourselves'

They're proabably heading for the strip bars in Vegas if we learned anything from last time

I could imagine the waitress, if she's being vigilant after seeing the photos all over TV and the web, making conversation to see what the response would be.

It's always good to be skeptical. About the FBI and about the guy at Denny's who was complaining about the FBI.

Or the highway system may be the only place the Islamokazis can travel without being noticed. (but even that scheme isn't working anymore)

I'm willing to give some benefit of the doubt here, especially as this is a mainstream newspaper article (that may turn out to be nothing).

A mainstream newspaper article? I feel so much better now.
