"Militants Holding 50 Foreigners Hostage in Saudi"

Saudi security forces stormed an expatriate residential complex Saturday seeking gunmen who had taken hostages after a shooting rampage on two compounds housing oil company offices, killing at least 10 people — including a 10-year-old boy.

The manager of a Saudi housing complex says militants still holding 50 hostages.

At least one American and two other Westerners were among those killed in the second deadly attack on oil industry targets in the Saudi kingdom this month.

According to Reuters, an Islamist Web site carried the following message: "With the grace of God, a squadron of our heroic mujahideen have today stormed American companies... that are specialised in oil and which steal the wealth of Muslims," and was signed "al Qaeda network in the Arabian Peninsula."

One must conclude that they are vampires who raise their buttocks to heaven five times a day as a show of contempt.

They plant their faces on the ground to be closer to their "god".

The true irony in this situation is the fact that the separation fence erected along the West Bank, was an idea first proposed by Barak and Labor.

The Palestinian economy cannot sustain itself apart from Israel. Even if the port in Gaza were fully operational, there is now way that it would be able to support the million or so residents of that region.

The pincer movement being used against the Palestinians is much more effective than previous policies, but I fear that it will lead the Israeli government to make unlimited concessions in future negotiations between the two parties.

If the IDF pulls out of the Gaza Strip now, they are setting themselves up for future attacks-financed by Hezbollah-relying on more sophisticated weaponry, which will be carried out in the future.

What was really fascinating about that period was how ill-equipped the Arab armed forces were, even after they had been supplied with heavy arms by the USSR for the two decades prior to the outbreak of that conflict.

Add: poor generalship and pathalogical cowardice.

Drudge hasn't even mentioned this on his website. He has that idiotic movie "day after tomorrow" as the top story. Very Stupid sense of priority.

Doesn't he get to go out and eat a sandwich or take a dump once and a while? Jeeeez.

Exactly.

Before Sadat assumed control, the Egyptian air force was virtually nonexistent.

Even today, the combined military strength of the five countries bordering Israel-their nation's original five enemies-would not be able to repel an Israeli military offensive.

There was an oft-quoted remark made by an American military official-he might have been special forces, I can't recall-who was attempting to give a justification for the impotency of Arab fighters.

It went something like this, and I'm paraphrasing here-

The Egyptian general came out to greet me. But before he did, he ordered some of his noncommissioned officers to stand if front of him, essentially to serve as windbreaks so that sand would not get into his eyes.

That pretty much sums up the state of Arab armies.

IMO the most impressive moves by Israel have been:

1) Targeting the Terrorist leadership.

2) Building the wall to keep the vermin out.

3) Deciding to pull out of the indefensible areas.

IMO, these were probably Sharon/Likkud initiatives.

FoxNews reporting 16 killed; Egyptian boy killed in public. Americans, Italians, French among hostages. On 6th floor of highrise (housing complex).

'Militants' wearing some kind of uniform. [Geneva Convention? I don't think Saudi Arabia will pay much attention while it beheads them after their trials.]

Perhaps they don't want to be turned over to the Americans, who might have a 90 lb butch MP drag them across the floor on a leash with woman's panties on their heads!

Militants my ass, jihadist scum would be a more apt decription but what can one expect from Reuters and the rest of the commie bastards on the left.

The House of Saud better choose freaking sides pretty damn quick and they damn well better choose the right side.

The House of Saud knows the only reason they continue to exist is because of the USA. Were it not for the USA, they would have been overthrown years ago by the Islamofanatics. This is also why they apparently worked much more than is known (but recently reported) behind the scenes to help the USA in Iraq.

Anyone not living in their native country is by definition ex-patriate. It does not mean American abroad.

And that is exactly what has to change. The need to go public against the jihadists and then come down on them like a ton of bricks when they conjure up some Saudi al Sadr's.

Saudi Arabia relies heavily on 6 million expatriate workers, including about 30,000 Americans, to run its oil industry and other sectors. The kingdom produces about 8 million barrels of oil a day.

^^^^^^

Saudi natives can't/won't work. They are all princes.
It is time for the world to stop supporting SA with workers.

Anyone else wonder how it is that in a repressive society like Saudi Arabia, these clowns can freely run around and cause trouble?
