The rainbow sash group is not celibate, get your head out of the sand.

Of course there is a strange twist to this, the Bible says if you do not repent of your sin and go ahead and take communion( which represents Jesus blood and body), it is damnation to your soul and because of it some die (sleep). So if they start dropping dead do not be surprised! If they think they are going to rewrite the Bible and God is going to do what they want, they are in for one HE$$ OF a surprise.

Thanks for clarifying something for me.
I am not Catholic, but I have attended several masses, and have always felt welcome to listen to the mass, but I have also known it would be considered sacrilegious if I attempted to partake in the communion portion.
I have a good friend who is Catholic, and for private reasons, she does not participate in that portion of the mass either.
I also know a Catholic couple who went through a long and arduous process to have their previous marriages annulled, in order to be married in the church, and be eligible to partake of communion.
I applaud those Catholics who protested this latest attempt to insult their faith and demean their religion.
As has been said before, there are other denominations with less stringent requirements available for active homosexuals, if they really feel the spiritual need to participate in a "church" .
Or they could start their own. What they can't do is claim some civil "right" to proclaim themselves Catholic, when they so obviously do not believe in or practice the strictures of Catholicism.
