To reject such a huge number of people out of hand feels wrong, like rejecting someone for having cancer or diabetes. That sort of discrimination, however understandable, long ago earned a name in the gay community: viral apartheid. What perverse, friggin' nonsense! How utterly sick.

Was this article for real?? It is so wrong on so many levels. I really hope that vast majority of gays are NOT like this author. And I know they ones I've met in my life haven't behaved/thought like this. Don't know what to say...

Revelation 21:8 -- But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death." - (NIV)
Sad story.

Well, that does it. Not only is homosexuality abnormal, it rots your brain, too. Dementia secondary to AIDS can be the presenting complaint.

Except for the high cost passed on to tax payers, these stupid Darwin Award seekers can go the way of the dodo bird with no regret on my part. They can't replicate by normal means. They exceed Darwinian standards.

God doesn't refer to all sin as an abomination as He does homosexuality and, no, not all sin is equal before God. That is a myth.

All it would have taken for me, was for the "author" to write in his "story" :
The doctor finally returned to the waiting room with my test results.
Doctor: " I have GREAT news!!"
Patient: "I'm HIV negative??"
Doctor: "No, you're HIV positive."
Patient: "But...I thought you said you had GREAT news !!"
...ahhh...you know the drill...insert the rest of the Geico
commercial in this spot....

Let's see now, the queers come in, take the test, I pay for it, then they don't bother to come back to get the result? The lifestyle is such that they physically moved on, or they want to ignore the probable results. It's not the fault of nannies in public health who want to curb communicable diseases by advocating free testing.

We all have to pay for this man's lunacy and the lunacy of his entire "community" in higher insurance rates, medical costs, increased risks of infection and even antibiotic resistant super-infections.See "Supersize Me" and you'll have the same feelings towards fast food eaters. And let's not even mention the smokers.

Mr. Tuller, I have an answer to your problem. QUIT BEING A FAGGOT!! It's kinda like quitting smoking.Talk the same way to smokers? Bet you don't.

I could also, I suppose, limit my contacts to H.I.V.-negative men. Straight people recommend that strategy as if it is a no-brainer.This is a good suggestion.
But they are not confronting a dating pool so full of potential risk. In my city, lots of the gay men I meet are H.I.V.-positive.
Yet another reason to limit one's contacts
Thanks to the current crop of medications, many have successfully kept illness at bay and continue to lead full lives
I guess this means that keeping illness at bay is good, and therefore the desired end result. Which begs the question that such illness does not really go away, and that others continue to be infected due to this "at bay" status..

See "Supersize Me" and you'll have the same feelings towards fast food eaters. And let's not even mention the smokers. Speak for yourself. McDonald's would have been closed down if it was a well-known and accepted fact that the meat was crawling with E. coli, and people would die a quick, painful death if they ate just ONE bad burger.
Nice try.

To reject such a huge number of people out of hand feels wrong, like rejecting someone for having cancer or diabetes. So now AIDS is on par with Cancer and Diabetes? Huh?

I never said there was E. Coli in their burgers and there are no quick deaths from places like McDonalds.
If what you were trying to do was create an analogy you really screwed up. HIV is a SLOW killer not a quick one. Just like fast food and cigs.
If you weren't trying to create an analogy I have no idea what you were talking about.

Um, reading stuff like this can render one speechless. The level of selfishness without wanting the consequences is unreal.

To reject such a huge number of people out of hand feels wrong, like rejecting someone for having cancer or diabetes. I can't remember the last time I heard of somebody catching cancer or diabetes as the result of anonymous sex in a queer bath house. This is kinda like comparing apples and armadillos, IMHO...
